I noticed that i have so many movies in my "films unwatched folder". Most notable are probably Mud (2012), No (2012), Now You See Me (2013) and Oblivion (2013) < not a fan of Tom Cruise and that kind of puts me off.
I expect a lot from Now You See Me, i hope i won't be disappointed.
Should probably get around watching them soon. And forgot to mention "Los amantes pasajeros". But the reviews that i've read of it are mostly bad. I'm a huge fan of Pedro Almodóvar's movies though.

I watched "No" (if you're referring to the Chilean movie). It's really not that good of a film. I was expecting a lot after what I heard. I mean the story is interesting as it really happened that way, but the film lacks substance. It's more like a documentary. Probably it received a lot of hype because of the way it's filmed (retro style) and the way it blends real footage with the film footage.

Now You See Me - seemed like a pretty good movie until the end. The plot twist was weak, unimaginative and predictable. Pretty much ruined an otherwise interesting movie.

5/10

Yeah i was referring to that one.
I see, but would you recommend it? Now after reading your comment i'm not sure if it's worth watching. But I probably will anyway, perhaps i'll like it.
I've read about it a little bit, a few reviews on imdb. And some people have said similar stuff about it as you did. That's probably why it has stayed on my harddrive for so long and haven't bothered watching it.

It's a good watch if you're into history, like I am. It really gets you an image of how things were under Pinochet and it's quite fun (the film, not the Pinochet regime :biggrinx:).
Although, if you're just looking for a film to blow your mind, to keep you in suspense, it's not "No".

Just watched "Pretty village pretty flame" (1996). One of the best I've seen recently. I got to say that I've seen many films about the war in Bosnia and this one was the best, far exceeding any other one.

I'm not that much into history, depends on what kind and which times though.
And i'm not really looking for a movie to blow my mind, i mostly like movies with good dialogue and not with too much action. Dramas are my favourite kind of movies, mostly.
I'm going to watch it soon then i guess, not today/tonight.
And i'm putting that "Pretty village pretty flame" on my list, i always appreciate good advice on movies.

Nosotros Los Nobles - Great Movie

Focuses on how Mexican kids are spoiled and how they treat those below them, only for them to be tricked into poverty and having to work for a living, by their father. It's a good comedy and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Yeah, I've seen it. I'll admit it, it got me a bit teary eye at the end. I actually did enjoy it and it's one of those good movies I'll watch from time to time.

Also, I'm a fan of Eugenio Dervez, He's the man who helps the kid get away from the cops. Another part that got me teary eye. I was drinking, so that also played a part on my emotional state.

just saw Kick Ass 2, as I figured, they didn't have the guts to do some of the things that were in the comics, but they stayed true to it most of the movie. I liked it

In what? I loved him in eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. He's a really good actor actually, i just don't like his comedies.

in the new kick ass movie.

He did a great job in Spotless mind. His best comedy work was in Pet Detective, and if want to include Bruce almighty in there as well.

True, agreed. But i wish he did more movies other than comedies. He's got potential and ability to act well in those.
Also "The Truman's Show" was nice the first time i saw it, but i was really young then, it was quite sad though.
I sometimes like to watch sad movies about difficult lives, it doesn't make me feel good but i can relate to them. For example one is "Factory Girl".
