Losing Pogba was the worst thing you guys have ever done. He is brilliant. Our best midfielder

I enjoy the League Cup now that we actually have more exciting young players on show. Powell, Wootton and Keane are doing well. Much better than watching Macheda, Diouf, Berbatov, Fabio, Gibson and Park.

Me too, it seems to be being taken more seriously this year too. It is now teams of developing players rather than backups, flops and elderly.

I also think that our squads are lot better than in the previous years.
I like how Hernandez has come deep at times and has been getting involved more.

With the likes of Diouf and Gibson and Obertan and Bebe you really did have some real rubbish in your squad...... actually thinking about it you actually have done really well to change your backup players from crap to exciting in under 12 months

YES!!!! Penalty on EXACTLY 93 minutes of 3 minutes stoppage time!

6 goals in 9 appearances against Chelsea. And I'm not talking about Welbeck. Another Pippo-like-offside-line-positioning, another goal.

Haha, what rubbish, glad we're out of the mickey mouse cup, but this **** (english football) is looking more and more like the MLS.

On a brighter note, the scouse-****s lost their only chance to win something this year.

Diouf is not exactly rubbish. He scored 8 goals in 15 games for Hannover. He had to be sold because we had a ridiculous 9 strikers at a time. I agree with the rest though. Money completely wasted. Add possebon and Dong Fangzhuo to the list. If we add all these flops together, we could probably have bought Modric with that money.

Good game considering the team we played with. There was absolutely no experience at the back. I don't know how the hell we could score 4 goals against an almost full strength Chelsea defense.

I had doubts about Powell's passing ability but he did very well today. Anderson did very well also against a strong Chelsea midfield. He should play more often. He gives the speed and dynamism that we need sometimes. I'd choose Ando over Cleverley TBH.

Hahaha just saw the scoreline. They played with an almost full strength lineup too. And that was at Anfield!

We were missing 3 starters from the defense. Yes, Cahill, Azpi and Bertrand are good enough and should not be conceding 4 goals, but don't make it out to be more than it is. After all, it was those guys against Chicharito, Welbeck, Nani and Giggs (who old as he might be can always be counted on for a good match). Both teams played more backups than normal, ManU played more youngsters than Chelsea, and both teams should've done better. The better team won but I'm not particularly proud of the overall display, entetaining though it was.

It was a good chance for some younger players to play against Chelsea at bridge, they almost used all key players. Well, League cup was a good chance for our reserves to play, hopefully they can manage some playing time in less important matches.

Btw, it makes Chelsea schedule more busy in December, at least a positive point.
