I stopped playing fifa 13 altogether btw.. player movements, first touch control engine, "the automatic sideways" feature and stuff like that.. all of it feels like buggy to me and I've had it.. just cant get used to them..


it may be up to me though; all I was expecting was a little bit refined version of fifa 12 and I cant accept the fact that fifa 13 is a whole new game.. so I cant approach it with a clear mind.. I need a magical touch and I wonder where it will come from, if it'll ever come..

so I stay tuned here..

Hey regularcat, nice work.

Weird bug here; the stadium names are right but they only appear on kick-off games, not career mode, what is wrong? I followed the instructions and regenerated with Bernd's tool... Also, the unlicensed teams and league names are still not working with either. I really have no idea what happened...

Edit: Actually, after deleting the xml and db from locale,big everything seems to work as normal except the stadium names in the career mode. wtf...

The default ones... I even tried deleting my profile and starting another one, still the same... weird.

More views on DB now compared to Vanilla game with my final sliders.

Regularcat DB plays slightly better and more realistic. Players miss more opportunities, they are not Gods in front of goals.

They do make mistakes, they do have heavier first touch.

The gameplay it's similar in both when it comes to results, but... Pace is slower with regularcat's DB, the players individuality is more pronounced, the teams play in more variety of plays.

Exciting ;).

Played now over 40 games on Regular DB. Believe me if it's what alpha is offering right now... Full mod will be ace O_O.

Ah yeah, you may wonder how it compares to Fidel version. No comparison. Regularcat's version wins for me hands down. However, it's down to user preference and how he VIEWS FOOTBALL.

I prefer realism over skills, Iniesta tight turns and other stuff Fidel puts in his version...

Video coming soon this time playing it. Plus will share my sliders with everyone interested (yes, they do work on unmodified game too and change the game dramatically imo :D).

we need to remember we have a lot of members who prefer ratings over realism.

i know i will use my work which is why i create it to begin with.

So I don't get it, your gameplay changes the db and the product.ini? That means the career saves will be corrupted right? Good thing I've waited :p

Oh, also, you edited the stadiumassignment part of the database, correct? It doesn't show anything when I open it with DBM12... could you upload the txt file you used so I can import it manually and see if it works?

Regular yes, you should continue.

I feel a lot of teams will need editing to suit their real life counterparts, but you're on right way ;).

My sliders won't be enough I believe. It's just... To make it play more real according to stats/attributes/team strengths and I have taken edited players into consideration making those.

Surprisingly they do work on normal game too ;).

Thanks regularcat. Meanwhile, I finally figured out what was wrong - when you start career mode, make sure you select Use current customized squads. Only this way the stadium names will show up in career mode.
May this help others who had the same problem and regularcat, sorry to have been such a pain in the ass xD Many thanks for the awesome work & patience. Cheers

Yeah but for some reason I thought I had to choose the default squads, not the customized ones. Sorry about that
