Alright...To everyone...Just read carefully !!!
The
z_data files are responsible with almost all
graphics you will see in your game (flags,stadiums,faces etc) !
Everytime you will import a file (
graphic) with
CM 08 it will be
stored in a specific z_data...
You can choose the z_data with your CM 08 , by clicking (before you run) on tools--> options and specific z_data !YOU CAN CREATE UP TO 60-99 Z_DATA FILES !!!
With your FM 08 tool you can manage your z_data files !It is s
afe to erase the files from z_data 40 41 and 42 those are unneeded graphic files so that you'll get 3 more z_data where you can import fifa graphics.
Each z_data file has a
maximum "weight" of 500 mb...If you
overweight your z_data file eaven by 1 up to 501 mb you will experience
graphic errors,generally missing textures (grass,faces etc).If you'll continue to overwight it
up to 990 mb...
the game will crash (own experience :P) and here's when you'll get everything screwed(sometimes you won't be able eaven to run your game) !
Every z_data will appear in your Fifa 08 data folder as .
bh and.big...
Everytime you install a patch make sure (with FM 08 )
your z_data is bellow 500 !
Respect your z_data files
run your game with FIFA 08 BIGFAT.EXE (erase the original FIFA 08.EXE) and your fifa 08 will have a long life !
My fifa 08 folder nearly reached 9 Gb (lol) and everything was working pretty fine...Yours can do it as well if you give a good management to your z_data files !
