It was written in patch info:
For the user, longshot accuracy has increased, but not as accurate as Ultimate Team Finishing has decreased, which includes finesse shots.

Goalkeepers: Better reactions and movement. Certain goalkeepers are better in one-on-one situations.


Which lines of code in product.ini should I remove if I want to have user finishing not decreased (user finese shot default) and goalkeepers default ones?

ok, i've downloaded and played with this one: Semi-final New-From-Scratch version. I don't know if this is the most realistic gameplay (not enough experience), but as a fan of realistic football im quite satisfied. Especially the pace of the game is slooow and i like it a lot!

Now i must get current squads, new kits from somewhere and i'll be content.

Which version did you download?

The latest one has default GKs and longshot ability.
For finishing: delete every line that says finishing(skills_finishing or Player_attribute_finishing)
 
Final version release date

The GP will most likely be completed next week. (70%)
30% chance this week.

I might be a strange bug in this forum because I don't manually play Fifa12, I just watch CPU vs CPU friendly matches... to be sincere I've watched more than 10.000 games (4 min/half x 10.000 games + editing = many many days sitted in front of PC... ups)

I've tested regularcat's, fidel's and your product.ini, I've enjoyed all. I found regularcat to be the most realistic, you're getting closer my friend.

What I still missing IN ALL MODS is how come stronger teams have problem to defeat much weaker teams.

Please advise me Andrea:
Is it because I should use minimum 6min per half time?
Does home and away any influence in players watching CPU vs CPU friendly matches?
Is product.ini take fully effect on CPU vs CPU exibition matches?
Would it be possible to get more realistic results where stronger generally beat weaker teams?

PS: I've also tried Fifa 13 yesterday and I will keep Fifa 12 for a long tome I think. I've watched 3 incredible games 4'/half friendly match CPU vs CPU with following results:
ARGENTINA: 0 INDIA: 2 (Missing Messi)
ITALY: 1 INDIA: 2 (No news from azzurra)
BRAZIL: 1 INDIA: 1 (India probbably next world champ in 2014)
 
Not sure, but thanks for inputting this. From my experience, all the codes which would have any effect close to the effect you desire are for career mode.

I'll try to fix this when possible.

CPU is always cheating, in all levels no matter half time duration. if you want to watch CPU vs. CPU games and find some "real results/scores" when stronger team generally beat weaker teams use difficult level proffessional using GP mod you have to set minimum 6 minutes per half or move shooting accuracy slider to 0 in 4 minutes per half. You'll get more "realistic final scores" remember to set marking to 60 or 65

GP works perfectly on exhibition matches but HOME team vs AWAY teams has no much difference. Try that home team makes the initial kick-off, I don't know whay but it works that way

oh, and also the home/away issue, if you remember :)

It does, GP is the best mod IMO and it works in exhibition mode of course. I'm not sure if HOME/AWAY issue work with GP mod, but if not, try that home team do the starting kick-off ;-) that sets the CPU-AI act little better than the team doing the kick-off in 2ºhalf. some of the plenty misteries of Fifa programmers :D

Yes i realized that the team that kicks off, plays better (H)

I download the version from the first site. And there are another versions? Maybe the best way is to place them on the first site, not in the middle of tens post sites.?:)
OK thanks. After playing about 10 games I see that user tackling is too easy. In default product.ini it is too difficult (it is hard to tackle the CPU ball, he dribbles 2-3 my players), but here I tackle ball too often. So could You tell me which values correspond to user tackle ability? I think that it would be good if apart from product.ini in Your patch there will be product.ini with default values. I know that original (default) product.ini doesn't have many lines of code, however I suppose that You took from somewhere those parameters, so could You share also the default parameters values (so default product.ini with more default values)?
As far as tuning is concerned, in my opinion current Fifa sucks a bit, because in old fifas all parameters were defined in cmn directory, it was easy to suppose what the given parameter means as there were sections AMATEUR, PROFESSIONAL, WORD_CLASS. So in this way I knew if parameter value increase/decrease this cause that it is easier/harder for example o tackle the ball.

I found all these in the exe, or added tests by myself.

Andrea, you are bussy but when possible for you: can you tell me what is does or affect the game the below lines in product.ini?

ALTITUDE_DIFFERENCE_HOME = XX
ALTITUDE_DIFFERENCE_AWAY = XX
