And Milan probably won't make it out of the Group Stage either after what they've done this summer.

EDIT: You might drop below Portugal and France after this year (H)

The 3 countries currently have 6 teams each competing in Europe.

4. Italy 2.000 (2012/2013) 51.731 (Total)
5. Portugal 2.583 (2012/2013) 50.001 (Total)
6. France 1.833 (2012/2013) 49.083 (Total)

Looking good (H)

edit
btw Braga is looking more solid than ever, I expect them to have a better campaign this time since they are more experienced and have quality players all over the squad.
Really happy for them, gladly Maicosuel decided to act like a ******* moron in such a critical moment (H)

Italy had a big advantage over you in 08/09, so when that rolls off and is replaced by 12/13 you should pass them. In fact, if PSG makes a big showing, Xifio could be cheering on Serie A dropping to 6th (H)

What should REALLY start worrying them is that Holland has been better the last 2 years. If this year is even or another advantage for Holland, they could be in SERIOUS trouble.

Ehh I can see AC going alright in the europa and surely Inter and Juve will outperform any dutch clubs and at least match the portuguese..

if it comes on the back of PSG (aka Serie A Central) success, that's fine by me ...

tbh, there's no excuse for a league whose runners-up are forced to forget their pedigree, and are reduced to this:

The pitch at the Stadio San Paolo today is the worst I've ever seen. I can't believe my eyes! It's a sand box.

Highlights of the first half:

Anyway, enjoying old maestro Totti on the other channel. Really enjoying the Inter - Roma game.

This Florenzi kid is pretty good. The coolest thing about Roma players is their love for biblical style beards (Balzaretti, Destro, Osvaldo and De Rossi)

Totti is awesome, has always been my favorite Italian player, I used to watch his highlights on a regular basis. Best pick of the draft (H)

Btw, anyone know a good site for Calcio match reports and articles? Something akin to Bundesliga Fanatic would be sweet.

EDIT: I change the channel to the Roma match and 20 seconds later Totti sets up a chance with a wicked backheel (some kid slices a bad clearance horribly). Legend.

Nice goal, excellent pass from Osvaldo and nice finish from Marquinho. Is this the Marquinho of ex-FM fame?

Cheers Ilaje, that looks good.

Might be thinking about Palmerias' Marquinhos, different guy, apparently plays in Tunisia now.

Indeed. He practically needs a wheelchair to operate at this point in his career and yet he's managed to masterfully design two of their goals

It's been a very open, sloppy and entertaining game.

There's been a massive philosophical change for the positive in the Serie A the last couple of seasons.

our back four as a collective need a colossal cock up the ass. Although, Pereira made a decent debut, especially when he was going forward.

How is he using Totti? I can't find any tactical analysis and I read that he won't use him as a a ST. In the 20 min I watched I saw Totti everywhere.

I strongly advise anyone who wants to get more into Serie A to check out this youtube channel:

http://www.youtube.com/user/LoveSerieA

It has all the matches highlights in english and HD.

Some examples:

Udinese - Juventus (1-4)

Inter - Roma (1-3)

Napoli - Fiorentina (2-1)

Lazio - Palermo(3-0)
