Yeah, I'm impressed with Altidore from the few matches I've seen from him so far. Looks like he can be a good striker for AZ. It'll be interesting to see how many goals he'll reach this season.

Amazing how PSV managed to score the opening goal.

EDIT

It's terrible what happened to Tytoń; he got kicked in the head by one of his teammates and didn't move for a while. They had to stiffen his neck though. He's out of the game for weeks.:(

HT 1:1

Ajax started to play better after the long break caused by Tytoń's injury, they were even close to get the lead just few seconds after the first goal.

EDIT

Ajax doesn't exist in the second half, PSV is better at every aspect so far and leads 2:1.

That's why I love Eredivisie, it always guarantees you loads of goals even in a game when it's more important to not lose than to win.

Make America Great Again
I can't believe I was talking about getting Americans to Holland and completely forgot about Ajax Legend (heh) John O'Brien! His career was ruined by injuries, but he was really good, and was signed as a 17 year old. The best player for USA at the 2002 World Cup.

Must say that after both match against Dinamo, I'm impressed with Ajax. They all underestimated it. Medias in Croatia said many times that Ajax is "peanut" team, and now all Dinamo players are saying that they never play against more organized team.

How f**kingly they played... Superb! Sulejmani, Eriksen... amazing players! Ajax is better then Lyon and hope they'll go in next round!

Thanks yeah we really showed them with their 'peanut-team' :mike:
Ajax played fantastic yesterday, best game yet this season and if we play like this against Lyon we can beat them as well.

Hey guys you know where I can get my hands on cheaper yet official Ajax shirts? I'm probably spending a day in Amsterdam next week, so I'd like to buy an Ajax home shirt! Max?

as much as I love Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax, I have spent more time than I care to admit in Den Haag (well, Scheveningen and Wassenaar) ...

If you want an official (replica) one I'm afraid all shops will charge you the full price. I wouldn't know a place where they would charge you less. Maybe you can get a 2011-2012 one for a discount now that the season is over.

The only place where you can get licensed, cheaper official shirts is online I'm afraid. Everywhere in Amsterdam they charge you full price.
I haven't seen a shop yet where you can get them cheaper, I bought mine from the official website (Ajax Shop) because the lettering and nameprinting was free of charge. Just bought the new awayshirt as well.
The Fanshop is at the Amsterdam ArenA, don't shoot the messenger :browsmiley:

Jantje to Spurs. Thoroughly deserved that transfer I think. I hope he does well for them. All the best to him! Hope to see him back here some day.
