I really like this shirt, although I'd prefer 2 buttons to 3. It's hard to find a cheaper polo from a crappy mall brand and this is a high quality pima polo. And if you don't like it, their returns policy is unmatched.

Plus they always have sales. The one at the top of their website that I'm looking at now is 30% off one item + free shipping on orders over $50.

Wanna get me a pair of Sperry Top Siders (late, I know but I have no sense of fashion). I usually only wear jeans (blue, some black) casually, wondering what would look good with them.

Yeah, those Landsend polos do look like sweet quality, might have to look into that. Besides, I'm way too old to be seen wearing stuff like A&F/Hollister

I bought a Brooks Brothers navy suit at the thrift store today. It was $15 and the pants are ****, so I wasn't going to do it. But I've been waiting for a good navy blazer to pop up for months, so I said **** it, and bought the thing. Made in USA, good fit, good brand. Not so bad. Also got 2 pima cotton polos, one burgundy and one yellow, and a blue dress shirt by Lands End (I've been needing one without a button down collar since I lost my older one).

EDIT: Actually just tried on the pants, and they work. Could do without the pleat and the cuffs, but I can have one of them removed anyway. This is my new navy suit. Hell yeah!

You must have some bad ass thrift stores up north. Over here it's all rags and plus sizes. God damn poor and obese Texans!

It's Goodwill, I think they're everywhere. But it depends on who donates, and you also gotta spend some time picking through all the ****. I probably spent 2 hours today, and in the past I've been there 4 hours at a time. Helps that I started to read a couple blogs about thrifting, and have a decent sense of what I'm looking for. I'm speeding up a lot, just in the sense that my eyes zero in on labels instantly now. It's like Chaps, Chaps, Old Navy, T-shirt, Gap, Gap, T-shirt, Banana Republic (hey!.. oh it's ****), Old Navy, Old Navy, T-shirt, Rags, Rags, 25 things in lime green, Brooks Brothers (hey!.. wrong size), etc etc.

Now... I don't know if it's a GENUINE genuine Montecristi (and lack of a grade is disconcerting), but still seems like a pretty good deal. Feedback is good, but for something like this you never know if the people know what the **** they're talking about.

Puma tekkies, they're cheap too. I ordered them for like €20.

I have a similar pair, really beat-up, can fit a finger through the sole, etc. But I still like em.
