Chelsea F.C [2011-2012]

Ivanovic and Ramires both got their yellow cards supposedly for dissent, both against the run of play. I really hate the stupid yellow card ruling, I thought it was changed since the World Cup, apparently doesn't apply to UEFA.

It's idiotic. If it makes you feel better, Bayern have 7 players a yellow card away from suspension, so if we go through it could be just as bad for us.

Dissent seems like a silly reason to miss the final, players should be more composed in those situations

I don't know, I kinda can't hold anything against Drogba he's the king for me!

Must admit i've never cheered a Chelsea goal so much, and i bet Gary Neville hasn't either.

Yeah, but the problem with dissent is you're usually punished for heat in the moment kind of things, for me the ref should be able to take a certain level of abuse and warn the players first(like first challenges).

If the player stays persistent with the level of abuse then I sort of agree with the need of a card. But then again, I think referees also get caught it up in the heat of the moment but they're the ones dishing out cards.

It's a sacrifice. If you don't waste all that time, perhaps Barca gets their goal. Does seem like a Pyrrhic victory though.

Yeah, I'm sort of rooting for Bayern now and hope you guys win and also lose some of your players to even the card a little bit.

UCL and FA Cup final. Hats off to AVB for keeping his team in both competitions before he got sacked.

I don't think we're as good as Madrid as I have said before. If I were you, I'd cheer for us as well. Also it would really suck to lose to Mourinho and watch him run down the pitch and celebrate in front of your fans.

I agree, as delicious as the thought of the Chelsea old boys coming up against Mourinho for their Champions League swansong is, I would just absolutely love there to be no Spanish teams in this final.

Also I feel Chelsea fans and Bayern fans have made an unholy alliance over recent weeks against Spanish dominance..... maybe just because we both think each other would be easier to beat

Yeah, to be honest that was 95% of it for me.

Why did you score in your only 3 shoots on target? all of them in the 46' minute.

Ramires is so awesome. When that chip went in I came a little. I had no idea he could do that. I thought the extent of his goal scoring was running into the ball inside the 6 yard box as it wildly careened off him into the net.
