Generic EA boots

Is there any way to get rid of the horrible looking generic EA boots from the game? Maybe some sort of patch that replaces them with authentic boots?

Sorry for asking this. I know asking questions is frowned upon on here.

Asking questions is not frowned upon. Asking questions without making a reasonable attempt to find out on your own, is a different matter. To answer your question, there is a dude on here called Keegan who makes boots. He recently made some Puma Powercat v1.12 boots to replace the generic boots in the game - maybe a week ago. All you need to do is use Fifa 12 Texture Editor (search for it) and replace to your hearts content. His boots use a different model than the default boots, but in his thread he explained what to do if it bugs you. Finally, no slevin, generic boots all use the same bump and reflex images, therefore at this time we cannot have various different brands for generic boots. I hope this was useful. How to Install: Put the folder on FIFA 12\Game\data\sceneassets
Then use i68Regenerator.
Changes: I tried as possible to put all essential shoe, replacing all generic boots and few others and if you see some shoes all black (even though of different brand), well that is planned to do not make game too coloured!

man I tried everything: I put in fifa 12/game/data/sceneassets..regenerare with fifa12 i68 by Yair but when I check in game remained same generic ea boots!thanks anyway..

I created a file named sceneassets and then we put folder shoe in him..then paste in FIFA 12\Game\data\!?Is wrong as we did?

Hope you intended a folder for sceneassets..
Are you sure i68regenerator has the correct directory of fifa12? When it's opened, right click on his window e choice the third option.
Have you ever import .rx3 files ? Such as kits, adboards? It's the same procedure!

I installed Fifa 12 in E:Program Files(x86)

i imported rx3 files but with CM 11&Fifa 11 i68 Kit Manager(kits..)

thanks man!i resolved finaly:facepalm:..it was my mistake because renamed fifa 12 exe and regenerator i68 could not see(Y)!once again thank you and good day
