red was harsh in my opinion, he seems to go for the ball but ended up mistiming his challenge. it looked ugly indeed, but the contact was actually minimal.

So you generalize based on stupid comments on Youtube videos. Go on videos with similar fouls from Barca or Madrid players and you will find the same type of comments by Barca or Madrid fans. This type of fans exist in every team, not just United. It doesn't mean all United fans are like that.

Dude he just said the red would be controversial to only man utd fans, meaning the team receiving the card, something that could be said about any team in the same situation. Chill out.

Only controversial to ManU fans. That was a red. Flew in studs first, didn't come close to the ball, and gave an extra thrust of his leg once the ball was already kicked. I don't know how much contact was made, but the intent was malicious.
Just saying that only ManU fans disagree with the call.

You United fans are all so defensive ;)

They way we gave up was absolutely disgusting. Evans is an absolute prick. But the way Ferdinand acted in the last 10 minutes was ridiculous. He's supposed to be a ******* leader, an example. I can't believe we were 5 against 3 in the last 5 minutes at the back.
Laziness and no passion. What a ******* day.

Difference between 2 teams? Lets be realistic here.

When you try to win with 2 goals and a man down, you'll get tired and abandon your defensive duties. Pretty immature on the part of United, but the kids will learn. Ferdinand on the other hand concerns me, his performance was very questionable. He is starting to remind me of Gary Neville's last 2 seasons. As for the rest of the guys, with a bit of tough love they'll comeback and beat City in their own park.

Man City's attack is amazing no doubt. But they have to prove that when things get tough they'll be able to cope mentally. We'll talk around Christmas time.

BUT someone big like Smailling or Jones should have been handed the duties of covering Balotelli and not aggresive Evans and the whole problem would have been solved.

here is the thing. When a team goes a man down, fans bitch about how players just give up and don't try at all. Losing 3-0 with lots of attack is better than 1-0 with a half hearted performance, right? Some days it pays off some days it doesn't. Today, at 3-0 down United were still attacking, even at 3-1 there was a little belief that just maybe something will happen. Unfortunately when it became 4-1 all concetration was lost and the emotions kicked in and we conceeded two more for good measure. **** happens, but at least we never folded. Until injury time that is.

Good for City, they were brilliant today.

Well, obviously that explains reasonably why and how you lost 1-6 to City. It was what happened and it was one bad day which happens to every team. The problem, though, is you lost 1-6 to City.

We never folded until injury time? That might be correct, but taken out of context that sounds positive. Injury time pretty much turned our performance into an insult.

The game was lost after 46 minutes, I reckon.
