Fifa 12 custom chants!

Still can't get this working. This is the directory my playlists are in. They are .m3u format but FIFA is not recognising them.

CUsers\Name\Music\FIFA 12 Chants

I made the playlist using VLC player and then saved it. Running Win7 64 bit.

Any help is appreciated.

My game crashes in custom chants, when i select the options "crowd chants" etc.
What should happen? Should the game open a window with the list of playlists?.

In case anyone have the same problem i find the solution. You need to have Windows Media player installed. Otherwise the game will crash. Thanks ANBSeth for pointing me in the right direction.

Follow the ANBSeth instructions. It worked for me in Windows 7.

For those who are still having problems in making the chants work...here are the steps :

1. create a folder called "chants" in C
2. create subfolders in it like menu music, entrance, team chants etc
3. download/place audio files in those subfolders. eg.place EPL entrance music in entrance.
4. create .m3u playlist by selecting the files in the subfolders. eg. right-click on EPLentrance.mp3 and select " add to vlc playlist " or " add to " WMP list "
5. Then save the playlist in your default music folder. eg. CUsers\Name\Music ( IMP - dont create any folder inside music folder, just save playlist there )
6. Its all done, import them into game and dont delete/move chants folder from C:/, otherwise custom sounds wont work....

This method worked for me, Do let me know if it worked for everbody !!!

i am using this program to edit chants audio "acoustic labs audio editor"
and effects are awesome

Fixed my problem by opening up WMP and making sure the Library was searching for my Music folder. Once it found it FIFA did aswell.

wpl files is better
for me i use it and no probs

Hi , I created the playlists (with VLC) for my team (UNITED) ,but WMP doesn't recognise all the m3u files and because of that in FIFA I can't select the chants.
Help pls!

UPDATE: Problem solved!

Anyone else notice yet there's a max playlist limit of around 255. I wonder if there is a way around this limit.

Somebody help me please, i did everything as mentioned above, but i hear the chants only in the arena warm up of my team. in the game nothing.

I tried career, they start to play my chants, the entrance was amazing but after a few minutes stoped again. weird!!!

Can someone make chants for Egypt and USA's national team?

increasing the volume of entrance and goal songs using a program like mp3gain works, but not with the chants. It looks like the game auto adjust the voulme automatilcy. (i can hear them by 1s at edited volume but then they volume drop.)

There should be any parameter in rna.ini we can add to make them louder.

Do you have many chants in playlist...like when i made a playlist for Chelsea chants, i included abt 30-40 chants in it and assign it to almost every option...eg. when you are leading, losing, standard chants etc...in this way the chants will be played most of the time...

Just see the vid at 1:44 i've assigned Chelsea chants to Team defeat, crowd chants and league or cup winning chant...in this way chants frequency during the match will be more

I bought fifa 12 and a xbox360 yesterday.
I would like Sheffield United theme tunes.

Not got a clue how to do it. Im used to playing fifa but ive been focusing on this new ultimate team thing.

Can someone give me a basic step by step (a really dummy help guide) to how to do this?

Ive got a laptop with windows 7 and ive got a portable hardrive.
I know on other pages 2 people gave a guide but I need a dummy LOL Thanks

Wait a minute - you have to make playlists for the chants? Doesn't that mean they'll come out sequentially instead of randomly?

Do they come out randomly, or in the order they're listed all the time? That would spoil what sounds like a great feature. And is there any limit as to how many chants you can have? If not, then Fifa will never, ever sound dull again!!!

You could say the same about the game's default chants as well.

Hey guys, I added Arsenal chants to my game and made it work once, but then I tried to add a few other chants and the whole thing just disappeared... Now even after restarting my game several times, it does not detect any playlists!

Help needed!
