First textures extracted

Reinstalled SlimDX and works now :) just some errors with a few big files
but most of the textures work. Great to see head files are working.

It works fine as long as you do the following:

- Installed the Slimdx .NET 4.0 End User Runtime
- .Net 4.0 (if you dont have it installed, install it first before you apply the above FULL VERSION)

To run Texture Editor, run the exe from the installed path:
C:\ModdingWay\FIFA 12 Texture Editor 0.5 - 64 bits

If you still have issues, download the full version of .NET 4 (assuming you have installed all the above) and do a repair. Reboot and make sure you run the EXE from tha path mentioned above. C:\ModdingWay\FIFA 12 Texture Editor 0.5 - 64 bits

NOTE: when Texture Editor opens MAKE SURE IT SAYS FIFA 12 NOT FIFA 11. I think thats what most people are running into an issue if they have the FIFA 11 version installed.

Two things for you jor:

1. Replacing of player pictures (2d heads) are not working, both png and dds make the program crashing.
2. You need to rearrange the .bh path for the 2dhead files, the program always search for them in game
folder but they are in a seperate heads folder.

I managet to get it work. this message above appears whenever I try to open some .big files, with .rx3 all ok.

offtopic: I noticed that bumps in this tool are really strange compared to fifa 11

Yeah.shorts bumps are ok.but kits have only one colour.
Does anyone knows how to import stuff.i68 regenarator.doesn't works.by me:rofl:

you can not open Menu-graphics with the TexturEditor

you can export the rx3 with the FileMaster11 => decompress the rx3 with quickbms (and Script!) => in the next step, you can open the DDS with DXTBmp;)

The only problem I came across so far (which I think Jorge mentioned and is working on) is importing images into big files (i.e. teamlogos). It lets you export an image but not import (again I think he mentioned this).

Hi to all it is very important to have .net framework 4.0 fully installed and the latest slimdx end user runtime.

The program is only a beta, it is not complete. It is an advance for those who want to start modding.

The kit bumps is a knwon bug, in the next version will be solved.

I hope it was useful for you while i work in the final version

Off course I can open Head graphics without any problem. I just want to mention that actually picture
change is not possible. I'm shure jor will fix this for a next version, also the rearrange for the 2dhead bh's ;)

Manually everything works fine, exported one player picture to Game path and activated it. Now I can
import my pictures after converted them to dds.

Thanks Jorge very good work!!! Its understood that this is a work in progress. Thanks again for the quick release too!!!

Your work has been great. But does the adboard change work ingame..?? We need to change the same ad files like FIFA 11 itself, right..? Should I wait for the next version for adboard working..?

Can someone explain me the change regarding hair and head files. I mean the extension is rx3 but FIFA 11 doesn't read them.

The models are incompatible ´cause the formate has changed, but you can import your textures. This could you do if you export the texture of your face with the FIFA11 Edition of the *FIFA-Textures-Editor and import it in to a FIFA12 Faces file with the FIFA12 (demo) Version of the FTE(*) ;)
