Strange, Sneijder rumors are back again ...

According to news, United waited to buy him with a better price and they asked NIKE to secure it.

Although, Anderson-Celverly looks good but I would love to see him in United's shirt.

So, you're reading an Australian newspaper for English premier league news?

Of course its gonna be accurate. In Australia they know better than Skysports or BBC about whats happening in the EPL.

Fergie came out and said the FA treats ManU like ****, apparently because a lot of his English players are gonna be called up. He says that since ManU produce so many English players, they should be treated better than they are.

Now let's look at the Englishmen in ManU's squad:

Young (produced by Watford, recently bought from Villa)
Rooney (produced by Everton)
Jones (produced and recently bought from Blackburn)
Smalling (produced by Maidstone and bought from Fulham)
Carrick (produced by West Ham bought from Spurs)
Ferdinand (produced by West Ham, bought from Leeds)
Owen (produced by Pool, bought from Newcastle)
Welbeck (produced by ManU)
Cleverley (produced by ManU (technically Bradford, but whatever)

That's 2 players from ManU's youth system, and 4 of those were brought into the squad this season.

And that's not even important, does Fergie think nations aren't going to call up players from one of the bets teams in the world? He should buy poor players, that way they won't get called up.

No kidding. Bayern deals with it even worse, as do Madrid, Barca, and probably Chelsea. And I mean... these aren't friendlies either are they?

I think this one is, but it doesn't really matter, all the big teams face this problem, even the smaller teams to lesser extent.

He is just ranting at the FA for all the fines, suspensions they brandished to us, while we still continue to look for talent at home rather than abroad. Was also a cheap shot at Arsenal and Chelsea.

So since we traditionally put out our youth team in Carling Cup, are we gonna put out a squad with average age of 18-19 against Leeds this season?

I think Chelsea struggled at home a bit vs Norwich at that too. If not for the penalty and sending off their game was headed for a draw.

Not really the top teams always find a way to nick a goal somehow, Chelsea would probably have found a way to get one even without the penalty
