well, compared to what he was getting; not compared to your broke ass (H) ...

but seriously, Italian clubs traditionally keep older players on reduced wages, with appearance and performance-based incentives ...

also, for those who haven't seen it, here's a candidate for the worst signing-unveiling gimmick ever:

as for the actual analysis of transfer: Napoli managed to sign Gökhan Inler ahead of Juve, who ironically signed Michele Pazienza from Napoli on a free ... Napoli have done really well; Juve better deliver on that big transfer of Kun or more likely Pepito ...

Bayern offered Klose an "insulting" wage, but still a very high wage and he turned it down. Lazio didn't have to pay a transfer fee either, so I'm guessing he's getting maybe 50k a week. A lot less than he was getting, but no where near what he deserves.

SG's van Bommel

but they're crazy overstocked on subpar forwards, so paying for Djibril seems pretty silly to me ...

It's not that silly when you think about the numbers he achieved in the last couple of years (50 goals in 60 games).

SG's van Bommel
True, but prior to that, he did manage 10 in the Preamier League with Sunderland. I'm not saying he's world class but for a team like Lazio he's a good purchase, he'll probably be their star striker now.

Cisse might go down well with the fans he's one of those players who gets really passionate, but can't see him banging in the goals on a regular basis

hopefully I'm proven wrong ...
and I also mentioned that they do have young Libor Kozák ... I expect this could be his real breakout season ...

Nice... Lamela, Bojan, Kameni, José Ángel... young blood for Lucho's side.
yeah, they've done well so far ... didn't know that Idriss was actually more than a year younger than Maarten Stekelenburg; somehow that didn't seem right to me, but there we are ... and if they can land Simon Kjær (as Philou Mexès' replacement), along with one more attacking or creative option, I think they're in pretty good shape for the new season ...

So, how's this Kameni? I remember him as a bad keeper.......:clapwap:

Kameni is good, at the begining he was very inconsistent but with the years improve a lot. Keepers are like wine.

and u said we don't have enough money... :)

No, we pay 1,6 millions € for Kameni and 4,5 for Angel, consider that Stekelenburg kostet around 9/10 millions......:)
Now we need a defender, maybe Kjaer, but who'll be our 2nd keeper next year? Curci? Lobont? I pray God NOOOOOOOOO(Y)
FORZA MAGICA ROMA!
