Looks like Diarra is the designated thug for the evening. He's had a few rough challenges and should have been booked for knocking Messi over on that counterattack, but no foul called.

Adebayor clearly looking for the red card to strengthen Mourinho's argument.
I don't know if they were looking for them, but Ade, Carvalho, Xabi Alonso, and Lass all could have been sent off for double-yellows.

I thought Madrid would at least create a chance or two after the 1-1 to make things interesting, but I don't think they ever got in the penalty box again. Impressive work by Barcelona.

Cue endless debates about whether Higuain's goal should have counted.

Oh and tits.
So Mourinho's plan was good enough to progress to the finals. Whenever Real got an opportunity to strike the whistle blew for NO foul....funny. Mascherano tackle on Arbeloa a yellow card challenge NO foul. If someone can claim that Ade was sent to get a red to strengthen Mourinho's claim then I can claim the ref didn't send anyone off to weaken Mourinho's claim and overshadow the whole situation. Yes Carvalho had to be sent off so should have been.

Anyways hats off Iniesta. If i have seen anyone as influential as Zidane in midfield until now it has to be him. Congrats. I really really wish Busquets, Mascherano, Pedro and Alves get their act together. And i don't mean ACT as they take it usually.

Another thing is Madrid should learn from todays match that you just can't buy the best to win. No team has the divine right to win trophies. Kaka is past it. If big money people come in sell him.

Madrid would have played the second leg differently with a 0-0 in the first. If anything, this match proved that Mourinho was too cynical in the first leg.

Madrid are the sorest losers ever :nape: What is sadder is that their ridiculous claims are dominating the headlines.

I don't know if theres a conspiracy or not but technology must come in. Its great debating about controversial stuff but not all the time. One mistake costs a lot.

About his tactics yes you are correct and everyone wanted to see a spectacle but the problem is you are facing the best team in the world. They will perform wherever they play.

About being sore losers well almost everyone is otherwise it so meaning playing in a competition. By the way Mou needs to chill out and some Barca players should behave. I don't really have a bad impression about tactical choices as long as they work. Man Utd did it against us at Old Trafford. Yes Madrid are no Man Utd but the thing is u need players to make that happen. Even watching Barca with hatred u can't really help admiring moments of genius.

Barcelona are the best team in the world, but Madrid are (arguably) the second-best. They should have had more faith in their own ability to pressure Barcelona.

I understand the complaints after the first leg (though the conspiracy theories are pathetic), but the ref did not favor Barcelona in this match. He made a controversial call, the same that many refs would in that situation, but he also went easy on Alonso, Lass, Carvalho, and Adebayor. It is childish to say that the ref "made it impossible" to win the match, especially considering that Madrid created only two shots on goal, both on the scoring play.

Barcelona should have their moment in the sun, but the headlines are all about the supposed controversy. "Club señor" my ass.

Is it just me, or didn't Ronaldo dive in the challenge where Madrid's goal was disallowed? Seemed like that to me.

Yes he did there was no contact with Pique

You'd better behave yourself this time!
Barca played way better than Madrid Yesterday,,,
They deserved to go through based on that..
but I still dont get it..
why did MAscherano have to dive and act like a p*ssy when the tie was in their hands ?

What a sore loser !
this is the point I emphasize on...barca can win easily..why playact ?

Sore loser?

He's a prick, always has been, always will. Sad but true.

Right now its mostly the people who dont support who are enraged by this overdosed playacting by some of barcelona's players..
soon it will even creep onto you all too...
I mean...yesterday's draw was deserved and when Barca play like that, they deserve any win...
but needless playacting will soon get you fans frustrated too cause its damaging the reputation of your club which has some amazingly godlike skilled players in the team...

-------------
Same goes with some of us...like Ive been supporting United since 1993-1994...
whenever Nani or Ronaldo playacted it really got into my nerves and I never liked it...I used to vent out frustration too...
Agreed they did dive...but for barcelona, its becoming too frequent..
wonder if theres a fan campaign soon against this by Barca's very own fans...

P.S - Mourinho had many correct points in the anti barca feedback...but I would never want him to Manage Man United. He does over do it too at times and thinks that every interview has to be dramatic
