I completed "The Season" game mode once, but forgot to check my position before clicking "End". Is there any way to see the table of that previous season now when a new one has begun? :-(

Yes of course, but savegame seems to be overwritten with new (next) season. Anyway, with a little reminiscing I'm quite sure that I finished 3rd in the English Premier League. :-)

So season mode allows you to carry on to the following season?? (as I said, I've never played it and just assumed that it allowed you to play a single season) or is the issue that you are using the default save name and that the next season mode has overwritten the first?? Either way I think you will be out of luck because the saved game file only stores the information for the current season. With manager mode I make sure that I save and backup before the last game of each season, so that I have a record up to that point. Sadly the game gives us no way of saving at the end of one season before the start of the next, so taking a backup before the last match of the season is the best we can do.
