We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

Its not even the length of the injury that we should be worried about, but whether Nani will have the mental strength to come back and still be able to take on bitches like Carragher with the same fearlessness....

Nice try, but Carragher is not a dirty player and does not have any reputation for playing that way. Sorry, but you are lumping him together with the wrong group of players.

And just so that everyone knows.......Jamie Carragher waited outside the Man United dressing room and apologized to Nani after the game.

Which is real easy to do after you escaped a red card and comprehensively beat your biggest rivals 3-1.

You gonna tell me Jamie had no intention of hurting Nani as he was about to dive into his tackle? Anybody that does this is a bitch and don't bring up Roy Keane, we all know he is a dirty mofo.

It is a good thing that our next two games have nothing to do with the league....we need to find our feet and confidence again......SAF needs to forget the 4-5-1 formation in the EPL as well. We have the players to break any team down, we proved that in the first half against Chelsea, Arsenal etc...sitting back after taking a lead causes the unnecessary problems.....

The Liverpool result (although it hurts) does not bother me that much as we are still on top, even if Arsenal win their game in hand we will still be joint leaders. The table has turned though... Arsenal now have the tougher fixtures compared to ours...... We have more home then away games and Arsenal's the other way around with visits to Bolton, Stoke, Spurs and Fulham.

I can see arsenal dropping points at stoke and spurs.

Btw, I have been hearing rumours about valencia's comeback. He travelled with the squad against liverpool and might feature against arsenal at some point.

What about Rafaels two foot lunge on Lucas a couple minutes later. That had some bad intentions and if it had connected, could have been just as bad.

I'm not saying either is in the right, but do you think Rafael is a dirty player?

Rafael has his moments of temper no doubt. He is very young and can sometimes be forgiven for losing it, unlike Carragher who is a captain and supposed to keep a cool head.

And if I may remind you of the circumstances as well, as soon as Carragher injuried Nani things went off, then if I'm not wrong Rodriguez or Skrtel actually made a dangerous tackle on Rafael and soon after Rafael went with his lunge on Lucas. Call me biased but I think its pretty obivous Rafael was just retaliating to the bull**** calls Liverpool were getting.

If Carragher was young and naive maybe we could let it slide, but an experienced captain and a leader should not be making those tackles.

Oh and tits.
is Park injured or what?? you need a wide man or a different tactic to go through against Marseile. Specially when valbuena and others missing from there side will be back.

F*ck this spineless sh*t. We deserve to lose this one. I can't believe I woke up this early to watch this shower of sh*t.
Also, Nani is a f*cking drama queen. I know that was a horrible tackle by Carragher but was this "show" necessary?

Harsh. He seemed to be overacting to me as well at first. I was shocked by his reaction. But when I saw that injury I knew it wasn't. Such a deep laceration is much more painful than a bone fracture. Trust me.

Carragher's tackle was a high one which is why Carragher definitely deserved red. Rafael's one was bad too and some refs could've given red.

Apparently it's true, but it's been zoomed in.

Better pic of the injury:

Haven't heard much about him yet. But if its just a skin lesion without any bone fracture, then he should come back pretty soon. He probably just needs some stitches if the wound is just on the skin.

There's a rumour going that he could be out for a few weeks......

Hopefully he will get well soon. By the way the refereeing was excellent it could have turned out to be very disgusting stuff. and the referee was calm and managed to some how reduce the temperature.

I think the ref was a blind **** and did us over, however...I'm willing to admit that most of my hate against him is because I'm biased, supporting United and being upset cause they were beat by dip****ers. But saying he was EXCELLENT is taking it a bit too far, no, way too far.

Really? A potentially legbreaking tackle punished by a yellow card, a failure to spot a stamp on Rafael, and also not sending him off for his stupid lunge?

The only thing the referee got right was remembering to blow his whistle at kick off.

Oh and tits.
u have your answer in your post.If rafael got sent off there would have been more trouble for u more than the loss. and that type of loss wasnt really far away.

United played **** football the whole season but had luck on their side so fergie was laid back. that man utd midfield is a load of nonsense other than fletcher. scholes is finished and carrick is i dont know what to say about him.just two years back he was the best passer of the ball in england now he cant pass to mate standing next to him.Yeah lot of the man utd fans dont like fletcher because he is no luxury foreign player. his progress through out the last couple of years is outstanding. scored most important goals passing has been very good and theres not a single grass on the old trafford pitch he hasnt touched. fans always criticized rooney for not delivering this season and berba for previous seasons but never really saw what they gave to the team.Nani has been great but not very consistent and he has more potential but i doubt he will ever fulfill it i hope he does but i dont see it coming because he is mentally fragile. ricardo quaresma is more talented than cristiano ronaldo but mentally unfit.ronaldo only succeeded because he works his socks of and never gives up and has confidence.

just take it as a good moment because there had to be a shock to awaken man utd. they cant ride on their luck all the time. city have a great squad now and they are getting things right and they have the power if a player doesnt perform or is less willing to do so they have their check book to find a replacement soon enough.so a shock was needed.

Why dont you question fergie by da way???his transfer dealings are awful other than a few exceptions like hernandez and cr7. he had the chance to buy gareth bale and failed to spurs. then again berbatov what would have happened if he paid 2million more and again spurs bought him and he gave his best years to spurs and then he signed for 30m.then van der vaart signed for spurs for 8m or something i dont know but he could have been a great deal. Look at spurs squad now and compare in the attacking department.liverpool dont have to worry anymore they got the money and just need a few new players to fix the whole thing to be back on top.

Just hope some one buys the club from glazers and invest in the squad.Im afraid Man u may even lose to marseille specially if valbuena returns.

Of course, had the ref sent off Carragher in the first place, then there wouldn't have been a lunge by Rafael to deal with - by not sending Carragher off, the referee didn't diffuse the situation. Rafael sought retribution by lunging at another player (which is totally wrong)

Blame Fergie? I do, some of his decisions have been questionable to say the least, but I also blame the players for a feckless and gutless performance.

Was this coming? Yes - we've got out of jail for a while, masking the p*ss poor midfield deficiencies. We're top of the table almost by default because the other teams have been stuttering too.

As for Marseille, I'm nervous, as one away goal and we're in the clarts - big time.

poet11, we don't blame our manager for a few mistakes like you do with Arsene because we remember countless brilliant decisions he made and numerous trophies he has given us.
