I'm pretty sure all three were announced as unfit for the return leg, and now all three have been deemed fit just before the match. This is at least suspicious.

Wilshere and Cesc were expected to make the game it was only RVP that had been ruled out. He still is only part of the preliminary squad atm.

Exaggerate much? He made one controversial call against Arsenal, and Van Persie wasn't involved in the match anyways. Barcelona should've had a penalty in the first half, and he forgave Koscielny a second yellow card on the penalty. Bad calls on both sides, difference is that Arsenal have done nothing to deserve the match. I take that back, they just had their first chance on goal but Bendtner botched it.

I thought van Persie was lucky to stay on after the ref saw his slap on Dani Alves (which was clearly a venting of frustration following the heated incident moments before) ... apart from that, yeah, you've hit the nail on the head as far as the ref is concerned ...

So what if Van Persie wasnt involved in the game? Player's performance can change anytime throughout the game. Its not a matter of whether Arsenal done anything or not that was a BS call.

Besides ref failing to award a penalty is no way as bad as the sent off. Once you are 10 men down away you are ****ed.

His point is the ref didn't gift us the game. What sevillista was saying is that the ref ruined a game that should have had futbol as the headlines. He made mistakes to both Arsenal and Barca, he missed a clear PK, he sent of Van Persie, he didn't sent off Koscielny, etc...

Anyway,

Tough luck Arsenal mates, I think you are a great team. However I think you aren't there yet as far as coming to our home and controlling the game. Like I said after the away game, you have a team that if it sticks together will bring you a UCL soon, as long as you don't play us :innocent_smile_1:, just joking you are gonna be a great team. But over the two legs I think we have proven we stand above you, especially in how much better we play in the passing philosophy.

Good luck on the rest of the epl campaign Arsenal mates, your almost there but not quite to our level, but you are worthy losers today in the match (Y)

@Payaah: thanks for ignoring my post and focusing on the other one ...

I replied immediately to Sev's post coz I knew the rebuttal to his post would focus on his points about performance, rather than solely addressing the points about ref, the fact that van Persie was lucky to have only gotten a yellow for his slap, and the fact that Koscielny committed enough bookable offences after his first card to have been sent off as well ...

Common, you are having a laugh man, I don't think we will see another team as fluent at passing as Barca right now in our lifetime.

I don't know if they will. But if they keep Nasri, Van Persie, Walcott, Wilshire, Fabregas, Ramsey, etc...

They will become a monster of a passing team, I think they will close the gap pretty close to us in a few years.

Nah I still think yellow card was the right decision. If you think he should been sent off then Abidal should have been sent off too for grabbing Van Persie's neck few minutes earlier. Yeah Koscielny was def lucky to stay on the pitch.

Anyway I am not even an Arsenal fan.

Arsenal shot zero times. Sore losers we should have win 10-0.

Anyway, red card to Van Persie was a joke.

Oh and tits.
1.To be honest Barca owned us. it was even embarrassing that the one goal we had on the score-sheet was scored by a barca player.

2.Ref decisions were crucial and they were against both the teams.

3.El Capitan assist to iniesta was awesome but he forgot he was still playing for arsenal.this strategy of giving the captaincy to the best player on the team by wenger is nonsense.Fab misplaces too many passes for his own standard and backheeling in your own box just 2 minutes to half time is insane.

4.Those idiot players do not understand football rules or are lame brainless. being 3-1( AWAY )down if u score theres a chance

5.Arsene Wenger is insane. Why in the ******* world u cant change to an highly attacking formation when theres a central midfielder and a left back replaced at centre back???.For god sake WE are the ******* Away team and its clear that barca are gonna ******* attack and there will be chances to counter and if we score even one goal less it could have been ours.

6. whatever happened has gone. **** the FA Cup(play a VERY few young players and intentionally make woeful error) and win the league.that would absolutely massive and that glory would be the start of many.

7.Apart from the Fabregas playing his part Messi scored a beautiful goal the one thing i liked about the whole thing.

CONGRATS BARCA YOU DESERVE WHAT U ARE and its a shame we deserve what we are

Arsenal have every right to feel aggrieved by the ref. Sending off RvP was complete and total bull****.

With that said they didn't deserve to win that game or advance to the next round. Barca's passing was good as usual, but it wasn't a transcendent performance from them in that aspect; rather Arsenal seemed completely unable to cope with the pressure. I'm not sure if they strung together 5 passes in the entire game. Fox Sports flashed a stat early in the 2nd Half that Arsenal had completed 60% of their passes to Barca's 84% and I was SHOCKED that Arsenal had completed 60% of their passes. They were atrocious. And with that said, if Bendtner has a better first touch, the Gunners go through.

Oh and tits.
yeah Shifty. That stupid ass doesnt even have to have a better touch just could have directed towards the right side and it was an empty net. He doesnt have to be in the same level of messi to do that.Titus Bramble could have done that better.

and the red card thing even the lines men would be thinking wat the **** was that for???

apart from what happened through out the game i was shocked the way arsenal were playing defensive. last game we beat them 2-1 playing with a will to attack and they had better defenders compared to today.and again Rosicky WTF!!! does he suck arsenes cock if he plays???arshavin atleast could have passed the ball better than him.One goal could have opened up the game so that we could find more space.

What happened to Arsenal playing their brand of soccer? They sometimes had a 6-man defensive line.

I never saw that. I saw an extremely compact back four, Barca players had TONS of space on the outside.
