You got the first error window because prg don't find the kit folder...
create manually:
Game\data\sceneassets\kit

I'll fix this bug in the next version.

The second window says that fifafs (that is used for graphics install processes) can't write in your folders...
I think the second issue will be fixed also with the first step...
If not, then you have fifa11 folder protected by security softwares and setted as read-only. Delete attribute manually.

Hi, can I ask you something? I downloaded the Kit Manager 1.2, i have a problem, I import kits in 2048x2048 but the program reduce my kit in 1024x1024,
can you make a version of this program for other sizes?

Ok it's nearly clear!!!

RX3 Kits Textures are 3D DDS compressed textures,
and DXT1/DXT5 (two differents DDS formats that are both used
in the Kits RX3files) are lossy graphic formats!
This conversion (and compression)
is the cause of the deterioration of the images quality you see,
but to achieve it, we use the bettere 3d free library (SLIM DX)!

So the answer is no!
Unfortunately no, there is no hope to change this situation
unless someone releases a more powerful compression method
and EA it chooses for its games!

As you can see in the readme file...
this program is developed under windows seven 64 bits
and fully tested under this configuration.

However, problems can occur if you had previously installed the first version of the texture editor and slimdx wrong (32bits) runtimes (or any software that uses it)...

You have to disinstall the runtimes from the gac
and then retry.
If after this, you lose funtionality of texture editor
download and install the 64bit version of the slim dx runtimes

Hi,
I never made any attempt but I believe that the files are the same...
It's surely different the way the xbox processor interprets the order of the bits
(endiannes) and that is why you need a 'conversion' to access the dds textures.

No i don't know other.

Test if kit manager works...

If not... you must be able to
open the registry and search for slimdx,

test the texture editor 64bits
Probably it doesn't work, no more...

To make it run:
download and install SLIMDX Runtimes 64bit.
or
better way... download and copy only the slimdx.dll 64 bits
in the texture editor main folder (where you can find the exe file!).
