We didn't have a good November, but in terms of our position in the table, we're in quite good shape. But Utd and Chelsea will not continue to drop points at the rate they have been, so if we don't start playing better there will be a substantial gap.

I think we lack a winner's mentality to a certain extent. Though much of the team isn't that young anymore, they've still in a way not come of age because they've yet to win a huge game or a trophy. Maybe once this team wins a clash against a real heavyweight, they'll know what it feels like to win the big games, and they'll feel like they can beat anybody. And speaking of clashes against heavyweights, we play Utd at Old Trafford in a few weeks. That's the game I'm looking to to turn our season around and really give this team a sense of belief. I'm not saying we will win there, but I think we definitely could, and if we do, I think it'll change our season.

You can keep second if you show more consistency in your results. Getting first place will be a lot tougher.

Nobody's running away with first...why would that be so much tougher?
I'd be surprised if a team wins the league with a margin of six points or more.

Because to get the first, you have to show the kind of consistency that I have not seen in Arsenal for the entire season so far.

United, Arsenal have been inconsistent. Chelsea now has dropped 4 out of the 5 past games, so technically they started consistently good and now consistently bad.

Either way Arsenal is within a 2 point reach because the PL has really been a rollercoaster this year. Every weekend I look and there seems to be an upset. I believe the top of the table is gonna shuffle late into march and Arsenal has a possibility of ending at the summit.

I also consider parts of the Arsenal squad to be too weak atm to win the PL or anything else for that matter. Fix up your centre-backs, your goalkeeper and get a better contributer to the play than Chamakh and I could definitely see Arsenal going for the title. Only problem is that Wenger is too cheap and always prefers French players.

used be a show called I'm on Sentanta Sports, which was shown on Setanta Sports and on youtube ... then it became Special 1 TV on Setanta Sports (again, also on youtube) ... now BBC3 have picked up the Special 1 TV show ... I'm sure you can find the old clips on youtube, and BBC3's website has the current series ... awesomely hilarious! puppet José is fantastic ... and puppet Rooney's accent is bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-brlliant! (shnared!)

Managed to scoop up a couple of clips from the show and you're right, very funny show. Great Mourinho imitator.

Good performance and two goals from Samir Nasri puts Arsenal at the top of the table for now.

Considering the bad form that Chelsea have and that you have a home advantage, I could definitely see Arsenal winning this tonight. Although Lampard's back.
