Gyan forgives Suarez

LOL! I bet Luis can sleep easy now. Guess this slams the door for good on this argument.

Funny tho....There's nothing to forgive. Of course it was the right thing to do.
He did Gyan a favour. He could have easily have headed it out.

(first mistake, Sunderland don't play "important games", not like the Ghana Uruguay game at least).

Oh god. He had to go and ruin it.
He had a follow up comment stating that "he wished the ref could have done something about the hand ball at that moment, it was unfortunate".

So , he basically wanted the ref to change the rules to benefit his team, in 1 second.

There's a great line in Rocky Balboa "Only losers blame others for their short comings". God, what a loser. It's not Suarez's fault he missed.

In fact, there's nothing to forgive. Him even coming out and saying this is as stupid as him saying he "forgives" Muslera for making those 2 great saves.


ps- Just read that the Ghanaian press is tearing him apart. Apparently he hasn't stopped whining about this since that day, and even they are getting sick of it.

I think the one Gyan needs to forgive is himself. Suarez was a beneficiary of one of the most dramatic/insane moments in the history of sports. 1 in a million type of thing. I'd be pissed too lol.

What? The ref did do something about the handball. He gave a penalty! It is neither the ref's nor Suarez' fault Gyan subsequently missed it.

Suarez did the right thing and was also very brave to put his own tournament on the line in a last effort to save his team. If he hadn't done it Uruguay would've lost, now they lived to fight another day and won in the penalty series, more or less thanks to Suarez.

Ironically enough, Forlan went on to win the Golden Ball because of Suarez........and this could lead him to be named FIFA's player of the year.
All because of a 1 second decision. Incredible how football works sometimes eh?


funny thing is that Forlan was actually furious at the penalty , because Suarez could have headed it out haha.

What the **** does that have to do with this thread? If it wasn't for Fergie controlling the FA and officiating from the inside, you would have lost 4-3, so shut the **** up already.
