I don't think Robben dived at all yesterday. If anything the Brazilians tried to kick him out of the game. I think it's no coincidence that Melo stamped down on Robben's left hamstring, which he injured just before the World Cup. He delibratly tried to injure him again there. Pathetic.

Yeah I agree, I think the fouls on Robben all clipped him.

You also missed the clear stamp from melo to robben. Yeah he might have dived, but does that give Melo the right to stamp on him while he's down?

100% deserved the red card

Agreed. No excuse.

Blame it on Ramires too, for the stupid yellow card that left him out of this game. Otherwise, he'd play Melo's place and we'd most likely win or at least keep the 1-0.

You still think Dunga would drop his blind faith and change his starting eleven?

^ Exactly. Melo would play anyway.

To have Melo doing that kind of shít playing for a Dunga's team is symbolic.

bit late on giving my reactions to this match:

for once, when talking about Holland, I was ecstatic about the result and not the performance ... so far it was merely quiet patience with the team, as they went about doing the minimum necessary in each match to get to the quarters, and expectantly anticipating the Dutch finally breaking into their traditional style ... but disposing of Dunga's side, and the chance that Holland could still express themselves in that potential World Cup Final (excuse my jumping the gun) against either Spain or a refreshingly different Germany, is definitely something to be chuffed about ...

I don't need to sh!t all over Dunga coz it has been done by myriad others ... nor over tinytim, coz ArgVega opened the door perfectly by creating that thread (Y)
