Right so just because 40 years ago there was a similar incident to this, with no possible technology and with much more doubt, they shouldn't be pissed? Give me a break, they have all the right to want to murder the ref. It's time for Blatter to step the **** down.

scandal! I, as much as anyone, want England to be knocked out in this one, but due to their incompetence (1st goal), and due to them being taken apart (2nd goal), but not due to a blunderous officiating decision ... what a shame ...

hopefully Germany put the match to bed with a couple more goals and make sure the better side and deserving winner is well established ...

Gimme a break. Way to use a single example from what, 4 years ago to make a point.

European refs aren't perfect, but the level of officiating in UEFA is head and shoulders above these idiots. Trust me, I watch enough CONCACAF games to know that ridiculous calls and cards given out are not isolated incidents.
