What a bunch of lamers. Let's hope they can beat Slovenia so they go through, them and the Yanks.

And people thought England played poorly against us.

How crazy would it be if Slovenia and Algeria advance out of this group? It's not so far-fetched now. Slovenia could certainly draw with England, and I could just as easily see us losing to Algeria as I could see us beating them.

Steve Macmanamen is absolutely outraged, and he has to put on this happy face for television so it's coming out as psychotic laughter. Really a treat if you have ESPN.

Pff, the only ones complaining about the ball are those who aren't living up to the tournament's expectations. For example Spain, who lost against Switzerland which is possibly one of World Cups biggest shockers, not to me though. Brazil, who "only" got a 2-1 against North Korea who did actully play okay but expectations were higher on the excellent Brazil squad. And here, England, who only got 1-1 against a country that calls the sport "soccer" and now a draw against Algeria. You don't see those who are doing well complain about it, like Germany, Uruguay, Slovenia. (Has Argentina complained about the ball? I can't remember that they have...)

All England could master is 3 shots from 25-40 yards out in the whole half? That is just plain terrible. The only thing that can rectify such terrible performance is for the English players to take ALL the money they got from playing in the world cup and buy the whole nation a round of beer. SWP is just terrible, why is Joe Cole not playing? Terry is sulking around like he is at the Zidane + friends friendly game. Lampard is just walking and got knows what Rooney is even doing on the field. And as hard as Heskey tries, he is just plain terrible.

I'm not aiming my comment at you directly; I'm aiming the comment at all who say that the ball sucks without possibly even trying it out yourself.

England have a lot of sorting out to do in not much time if they plan to beat a Slovenia side who once again proved their quality today (even though they were saved by the ******* ref)

What a boring game. England have worldclass players who play well for their individual clubs: Rooney 34 goals for United, Lampard 27, Gerrard, etc etc but all they can do is score 0 goals against Algeria when they play together. To me, Capello chose the wrong tactics. WHY HESKEY??? The guy who scored 3 goals in 31 games for Villa this season! Thats a joke! Bent scored 24 (8 times more goals than ******* heskey) but never got the chance. Thats ridiculous.

Gotta say the Slovenia tactics start with Terry taking his armband back, and end with Joe Cole and Crouchinho.

I quite enjoyed that. Great decision by ESPN to get him for the job. Not because he's a great analyst, but because it's amusing to no end watching him try to contain his rage at England's performances.

Anyone else noticed that England were a force to be reckoned with in the Qualifiers and have progressively gone downhill in friendlies and the WC? See the trend? Terry to Ferdinand to Gerrard.

Heskey out, Cole in. Cole and Lennon on the wings, Gerrard or Lamps behind Rooney with the other one partnering Barry and Dawson at centreback. OR, **** Gerrard and put Crouch in. Scott Parker, Carlton Cole, Zamora, Johnson, all players who I'd rather see right now.

******* hell, I was watching this one with friends after hearing the other matches were entertaining and got this to watch. **** England. And **** Gerrard as captain. He's been carrying a crap team for too long, so this is what happens when he's meant to carry England.

Btw, all of Liverpool's players were ****e today. Everyone was poor, but they were particularly woeful.
