And this all started from that comment. Do you realise why he was calling them bigots and idiots etc? It had nothing to do with them wanting the vuvuzela banned but the fact that multiple people were saying it made them "primitives", "uneducated", "they should be greatfull for having the honour to host such a big event in 'these conditions'". etc

:blush: been many years since I was at high school but thats what my grade C english gives you :innocent_smile_1: I cant even see where my grammars wrong but luckily its somewhat irrelevant in my profession.

Anyway what's that got to do with the price of Beef? To suggest Africans are primitive (or anyone of the other shameful comments) for blowing horns is simply not acceptable, however annoying they may be.

Absolutely, that dude needs to be gone. I don't know if subtly promoting Nazi-ism is technically against the racism rule, but I think it's close enough. People got banned for a lot less back in the day.

Read it again. I only started out on him after he went racially (ethnically?) psycho on Poles for absolutely no reason.

I think you misunderstood him. At no point did he make any inappropriate comments about poles. Everything he argued was in retaliation to comments from a number of people which should not be allowed on these forums or anywhere for that matter.

EDIT: Shut up, adedawson, he was being an idiot. The only post, off the top of my head, that was inappropriate was Ulysses' who called South-Africans primitive, after he went ape**** (I think).

What happened was Ulysses made one comment. Andremc11 gave him some abuse for making such a comment. Ulysses then proceeded to make the comment again for the second time. People started laying into Andremc for standing up against some rather inappropriate comments, almost defending Ulysses.

Go back and read.

granted he lacks a certain charm but I can think or a better person to ban.

btw Mods told me he was banned for swearing and his generally aggressive behaviour. Just seems mad when you consider why he was being aggressive. There again if hes like this all over the forum... so be it.

I think you are completely wrong about that, but I'll grant that it was not exactly the worst comment I've ever heard.

Perhaps this is just a week long cooling off ban. Probably every member of this forum has gotten one at some point.

I thought he was pointing out you cant take away certain cultural characteristics, it would be absurd etc.

If you look at all his posts across the forum you will find it hard to find the same attitude outside of this thread.

This whole "SKI" thing was an example rather than an insult... He said "What IF..."

If he's banned, then Ulysse (or whatever his name) should also be banned. Or at least be yellow carded. You ban Andremc for that "SKI" think but no action when Ulysse says "Africans are primitive"? Seriously, there must be some fairness. If you ban Ulysse just like you banned Andremc, then its fair. You can't ban someone simply because you don't agree with what he said.

Many years ago (when I was a regular for a brief while) it was common to see temporary yellow and red card punishments here. In contrast, if the "Banned" for andremc11 means a plain perm/indefinite ban I agree it seems a bit too harsh...
