Rooney grabbed a goal for country at last, a cracker it was too. With any luck that's his sharpness returning.

"In addition to their mortgages in the US, a portion of the Glazer family's £700m Manchester United debt will soon see them charged interest at a rate of 16.25%. "

Do you guys have any idea how ****ed we are?

Panorama
Man United - Into the Red

Today on BBC1 from 10:35pm to 11:05pm

John Sweeney investigates the level of debt at Manchester United under the controversial ownership of Malcolm Glazer, and whether a potential takeover bid by the Red Knights could succeed. The programme also assesses the wider implications for football as its most famous club faces a concerted revolt from fans and a future of financial uncertainty

well don't miss that. Panorama are usually very good in there evaluations, no bias etc. They give facts. Guess we will find out how truly screwed we are.

Don't have BBC, so you are gonna have to tell me about it. But my guess is that if Glazers don't sell to the Red Knights this summer then in a few years we are most likely staring at Leeds United's fate and will be lucky if somebody rescues us before we fall into the relegation zone. I'm serious.

Haha, Nani is now out of the Cup with a bruised collarbone.

This is just getting absurd.

Any day now I'm expecting the England camp to announce that Rooney broke is foot in training.

I swear this club is cursed with injuries.

I fully expect Rooney, Vidic and Evra to get hurt in the tournament.

3/4 of a billion pounds in debt

brandchester united making them lots of money, they can afford the debt, or so they say.

570 million debt on there shopping malls.

1.1 billion debt if you add everything together in US and UK.

summs up the program. There basically saying glazers are taking money out without putting anything in.

And that pool of money is shrinking while the cash need is expanding for Glazers. Their debt is our debt.

I'm tired of hearing about the Glazers and Gill. Anyway, Joe Cole has been released by Chelsea... I hope we go for him. I have a feeling we will. Because he's free.

EDIT: If he's asking for high ages in the order of 100 000 GBP, I can't see us being able to afford him. I hope he doesn't sign for ******* City.

Vidic's agent is just playing agent games - it's part of the opening gambit for later contract talks - Vida has said before on many occasions that he's staying at least until his contract ends.

If we did sell, I reckon it'd be to Madrid and possibly with Karim Benzema coming the other way.

Simon Kjaer is apparently on Fergie's wanted list, but I can't say I know too much about him.
