Champions League final on Fox

Proper Fox, not FSC, FSN or FX. The terrestrial network.

Pretty cool, first time in history that it's shown live on over-the-air TV in the US.

Right before the World Cup. Very smart move by FOX in my opinion.

A very smart move indeed... Now they just gotta advertise it so it can bump up the ratings.

I thought they were going to show it on FX? Anywho, this is gonna be the most watched Champions League game in the history of US television. No doubt in my mind.

Yes, but FOX is broadcast over the airwaves and you can get it with an antenna for free. All the other channels are only available based on your cable/satellite package which you have to pay for. The networks (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS) always have much higher ratings than any other channel. By bumping it up to FOX from FX or whatever, FOX is going to attract a ton more viewers for the CL Final, and they also basically say that they think the Champions League can do better than whatever they normally run from 1:30 to 4.

[Just checked out what FOX runs, and it's Judge Alex, two Divorce Courts, and two Judge Joe Browns. CL Final should dwarf those.]

Hasn't it moved to Saturday this year?

We usually have RONCO ads then, if NASCAR isn't on.

I just hope Jeanie Zylasko stays far away.

Yeah, this is the first final played on a weekday. More revenue because people dont have work? I dont know, but I have FOX in HD, and I am ******* excitedddddddddddddddd.

That's pretty weird, I don't think Fox has ever showed a soccer game before.

Hopefully they'll broadcast it in HD.

This is Fox's first soccer telecast.

FSC HD isn't available on cable yet but I'm pretty sure certain satellite providers carry it now.

Because with respect to the football, hockey, and baseball games, but it's stupid for me

in canada i have some canadian friends and they dont like soccer and i dont know why loool

and i have some spiansh and italian and arabic friends we always talk about soccer
