I can't believe Dumbenech spent more than 90 minutes watching the team play so stretched out, that's basic stuff, one of the things that I hate the most about him is how he doesn't realize he's missing basic football coaching stuff.

Why do some of you make it sound like this was the most terrible officiating mistake ever made and the biggest cheating event in the history of football?
Sure, nobody hates to see an underdog go out due to some cheating incident, but things like this happen. Ofcoarse Henry is going to say that the ball hit his hand, what else can he say? Its a shame Ireland had to go out and especially in such a way, but was it THAT much worse than Makelele diving in CL, South Koreans scoring on offsides, Italy (i believe) stopping the ball from crossing the line to avoid defeat in WC 2002, Rivaldo pretending like he got hit in the face, Maradonna scoring with his hand, Rooney ending Arsenal's unbeaten run with a dive? Just think about it, if this happened in a regular league game would you lot make so much fuss about it? Its unfortunate about the circumstances, but when stakes are high these players will do anything. Were the Argentinians at one time practicing diving and time wasting during their training sessions?
I do wish Ireland made it instead of France and i'm 90% positive that had the incident happened against France instead, Blatter and Platini would have ordered the game to be replayed, but lets not treat this as if somekind of football revolution is coming. All this was, was a bad moment in one of thousands that happened in football over the past number of years.
