Just watched .rec, this Spanish/Catalan horror film. One of the best I've ever seen. If haven't watched it yet, you really should. But if you do, don't read anything about the story before, it's way better if you don't.

The Shawshank Redemption - classic, a must see.

Hmm, nice coincidence. Have these 2 movies collecting dust in a shelf and for some reason haven't seen them yet.

Saw a favorite again this weekend: The Darjeeling Ltd.

Daz

Everyone's Favourite Diabetic
Once

One of my favourite films. Low budget but the style fits the story perfectly, a subtle musical i suppose.
The soundtrack won an Oscar a couple years back.

Inglourious Basterds - liked it a lot, however it could have been shorter considering there aren't so many things happening.
The Pledge - Carlos Nicholson is the only thing that makes it watchable, mediocre ending.
Leon - really good. (Y)

Paranormal Activity - Good movie. The timeline works beautifully to assist in telling the story. Two thumbs up.
I particularly liked the part where the dude **** himself in the bed. Warning! Spoiler Alert!!

Hoping to see Die Hard 4.0 again soon, it'll be at a Swedish channel, so I'll see if I have the time to watch... Anyways, the latest movie I saw was Ace Ventura, seen it about 6 times now, lol, but the best movie award ever HAS to go to The Godfather(first part), it had everything a drama movie and a movie in general should have, the action, the suspense, the drama, perfect actors and story, it's simply a fantastic movie that is worth seeing again and again and again and again...

It was about time they got it right with a horror movie. I loved Paranormal Activity as well. You kind of knew what was going to appen and still once it does actually happen it freaks you out.

I saw The 4th Kind after i saw Paranormal Activity and to be honest it was kind of similar but once you see it once the second time around it just jets boring.
