so we're one up by HT, good enough for me.
we're not having the greatest of games but Hungary is sucking ass so it's all good...Ronaldo and Liedson have been absolute zeros so far, hopefully they'll step up in the second half.
the defense is doing pretty well except for Duda who is having trouble even at receiving the ******* ball...hard to blame him though since it's not his natural position.
Great work by the midfield so far, Pepe has been a beast out there and both Meireles and Tiago have been doing their usual quiet yet effective job.


Denmark is winning in Albania which isn't cool...and did Malta really have to score an own goal in the last minutes against Sweden? FFS!

I'm really surprised how weak this hungarian team is...not that I'm complaining, but they are definitely the worst team of the group after Malta.
we've played enough to deserve the win in the end, after the early goal it was matter of controlling the ball and and grab the points which we managed to do with some confort given the almost nonexistent opposition...

I would've started Nani over him tonight, he's been in great lately and livened up our game in both matches after coming in. Hopefully he'll continue his good run of form until October and help clinch those 2 vital wins.

Sweden are being incredible lucky, with 2 wins (and 4 points) gained with goals in the last minutes of their games, one scored with the belly, and another being an own goal!

But Albania's result against Denamark could be useful for Portugal, because it will "scare" a little bit the danes for the game against Sweden.

by the way, Sweden normally plays well in a World Cup and they have a decent history there and you're the Brazil of Europe, but Denmark ...

Considering Sweden's extremely luck win against Malta, Albania tying Denmark is the next best thing. If Denmark had won then they'd be through and wouldn't care if Sweden beat them, if only to eliminate Portugal from teh WC2010. (just like they fixed the result in Euro to eliminate Italy) Now they cant do that because then Denmark risks losing 1st place and can drop to the playoffs or with another loss to Hungry completely out of the world cup. Denmark have proven to be a much better team than Sweden and can hopefully tie and we beat Hungry by more than 2 goals and we will be sitting in teh playoff spot with a game at home against Malta. Boys we got to believe!!!!

Scotlands loss automatically puts them out of contention (10 points is not enough). So second will get us into the playoff, which will have some pretty tough teams.

All I got to say to Denmark is "Dont play with fire, cuz you will get burned". Beat or atleast tie Sweden.

Denmark will want to qualify in first. It will be a "mata-mata" match for both Denmark and Sweden, and Denmark is playing at home.

A draw or a win from Denmark is all we need.
