getting a good feeling about owen. At this rate he will have beaten Tevez 4-5 goals of last season before the end of pre season haha but seriously... good vibes so far. Hope he can keep up his fitness. Macheda looks to be turning into something special, hope he can keep up the progress and given the chance to play.
SAF has said in not too many words he wouldn't be surprised if Ronaldo comes back in the future. That would be cool, I have a feeling he isn't going to be so prolific at Real.

One thing that was obvious during first match was Nani's motivation. The guy is tring hard to prove himself.
Macheda should work alot on his runs with the ball. He looses the ball very easily. Berba!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know why I don't like his style and attitude yet, more passion and hard work plsssss.

Quite impressed who were playing in the run up to the start of the season... we should have quite the test.

No, Fergie said it was because he'd been playing later with Ecuador and had a slight knock - so he didn't want to risk him too early. He will join in Munich though, as will Vida. Park is set to fly into Seoul to join up. Only real long term injury in the squad is Gabby Obertan, he's out for 2-3 months with an injury from Bordeaux. Solid game yesterday, I think United eased off too much but we still created chances, finishing was sloppy apart from Kiko and Michael who again took his goal well.
Tosic looks promising, but I still feel he was bundled off the ball a bit too easily. Anderson needs a goal, I think once he hits the first one - he'll get loads. I suspect it's a question of thinking too much about the shot, rather than being clinical. I can sympathise, I've done it myself on many occasions - it must be a lot of pressure being a United player. Overall Anderson's midfield play has been promising, and I suspect he will be another who finds himself with more of the ball now CR has gone.
FC Seoul next, they gave us a bit of a game a couple of years ago so it should be a good test.
It's nice to see the boys playing again though.
Macheda is not ready to make the step up just yet. He still has alot to improve on. Still young so not to worry.
Would like to see welbeck given a run next season. I think he can make an impact. Is he injured too? Good solid game by the way. FC seoul will give us a sterner test no doubt.

I was there at the match on Saturday, Utd played well in the 1st half lots of possession with quite a few other half chances, but there were quite bad in the 2nd half though.
Berbatov had quite a few nice touches but didn't really threaten the goal had one chance from a corner a free header but he put it wide.
Interesting to see that Giggs and Neville had to do a extended warm down after the match was over especially Neville who didn't play he was still jogging on the pitch with a trainer while the rest of the team were making their way back to the dressing room after doing a lap around the pitch to applaud the fans.

He's the only striker who hasn't score yet in the Asian tour, but he's come very very close on 2-3 occasions. Luck wasn't by his side unfortunately. I noticed he's been playing better in these 2 games compared to last season... I was happy with him especially the second game. He gave a lot of hard work. I am convinced that we have a world class strike force in Rooney, Berbatov and Owen with Macheda and Welbeck as backup.

You're believing Benitez over SAF? The man who said that we have spent more then him....? I think the big signing will come next summer, maybe we won't need to if Macheda, Welbeck and some of the other young players and arrivals step up. We are not in a desperate position, we are well covered in most positions.
