I can see you guys getting Valencia, Glen Johnson (only if he wants payback to chelsea for the way he was treated), and Huntelaar if you guys do a strait swap for Berbatov to Real Madrid...

Huntelaar will only come in exchange for Ronaldo.

Yeah, considering the fact that the situation is different, same club different staff. If the reports are true and we are trying to get Valencia, then I can see us letting loose of Ronaldo....Real is a circus and I can't see them playing any better if they don't get defenders. I hope Ronaldo realizes that he is at the right club where he is the star of a great team, that can only get better and better....

I hope they pay you 100M. And you turn around and help out my boys with 70M for Ribery. Then 30M more for Benzema, and you're set.

I agree, united is the best place for him... your philosophy, your professionalism, your style of play, its all very class... a great club i which i have alot of respect for... btw is it true carlitos has signed for your local rivals? His fight and character makes him the typical united player, it would be sad to see him in a different shirt

Ronaldo leaving won't affect us IMO. Cantona left. Beckham left. Ruud left. They all left, but we still stood strong. This didn't affect United a single bit.

Ronaldo's departure is inevitable, be it this year, next year or whatever. With the money we'll get, we could build a great team. The earlier he leaves the better. We'll get more time to make use of the money.

EDIT: quite a number of websites are reporting that Tevez has signed for City but its not confirmed. I hope these are just rumours.

Here's what I don't understand...if Madrid just spent $90 million on Kaka, how in the world can they afford to spend what would surely be at least $100 million on Ronaldo? Where are they getting all of this money?

Who will have the final say in whether or not Ronaldo goes? SAF? The Glazers?

If I were the one making the call I would demand an absurd amount of money for Ronaldo...like $150 million. Then sign Ribery, David Villa and hopefully a good defender. But I don't think any of that is going to happen.

Still cant see him going unless they offer a lot of money.

I think if we lose him we could possible have a lull for a season or 2 whilst the new team gel's.
