New leagues with old fashioned stats... ermm... nothing in my patch changes that. Players may behave a little different, but I've imported some teams with old stats, and I was like "oh what the heck, this is something I can live with..."
There is only one thing we could do. If only there was like an ULTIMATE DATABASE, something like PES's popular option files which 90%+ people use, I could work on it and release my "interpretation".

Amazing post. Believe me, if there's something I've been looking for, that is the fix for that f**** bug.
I've also tried hard to change the players first contact with the ball: I hate it when they receive it, push it one meter ahead and move to the ball. So useless, unnatural, unwanted and not aesthetical, it has nothing to do with how players receive passes.
I can manage players to receive the ball without knocking it forwards, since it has to do with ball physics, but that's unfortunately the reason why it isn't really as simple as it sound: fixing it happens to screw the general behaviour of the ball BADLY. I am however confident that we can reach a balance and be happy forever or something like that.

Ball physics, yeah I kinda pushed it to the limit, but for some very weird reason I find it better this way. I wanted to recreate the ball deceleration due to the grass, but maybe I cranked it too much. It just that, after watching a real match focusing on the ball speed on ground passes, you realize it goes sooo slow and it decelerates... unedited fifa passes, on the contrary, seem to accelerate more and more as they reach the receiver, like the ball had an engine.
