Gutted!..Was watchin the match in a bar with like 80% arse fans. It was a fascinating game but we were wasteful in front of goal just like against hull. Rooney had a shocker...and neville is is past his sell-by date. Ronaldo, park, vidic and anderson had good games. the last 6 mins was just frustrating...we kept knocking the ball long and high when we cld have kept it on the ground and played proper football.

oh and my arse mates say clichy nullified ronaldo completely..i thought it was balanced. Ronaldo had his moments...clichy had his. And ronaldo was heavily marked most of the time. by 2 or 3 goons.

nice pics if Maradonna in training. Maradonna looks so small in front of them lol.
Ferdinand was given a signed shirt by Maradonna on his 30th birthday on this day.

Well luckily I spent yesterday afternoon watching the new Bond film at the cinema - so at least I was spared United choking in another big game.

This is not like United at all - perhaps there is some truth in the reports of complacency.

I'm not 100% giving up on the title - but I have severe doubts about us retaining it.

I also think it's down to hunger. They just don't look like they want it that much.
Very poor first third of the season.
And for me, a game in hand doesn't mean anything at all. We need to win it to make it count so for the time being we're 8 points behind.
Neville is past it, I hate to say it, but those injuries really do look like they've taken their toll on poor Gary. A pity really.
We're missing Scholes and Hargreaves as well for matches like these, and as said before, Tevez should be starting a few games on the trot now.
I wouldn't give up on the title just yet, but I really don't think we're gonna win it this season, Liverpool and especially Chelsea just look hungrier.

I don't think that our main focus is on the league this season. I have a gut feeling that SAF wants to concentrate on the CL again and win it on the trot. Like some of you said earlier, it all comes down to hunger. The football is there, but the cutting edge is missing. Yesterday against Arsenal we showed that we can play great, but we were unlucky in finishing our chances off.

Hopefully Anderson stops trying for a shot from distance. Instead, he should create a lovely through pass or look for a shot closer to the target. Its really tiring to cringe whenever he takes a shot outside the box. I'm pretty sure if he gets one in the net that his confidence will be up!

Disappointed that we lost, and personally I think that we probably won't win this year, although we can still salvage it when we play the big teams at home. Stoke at home next- a big chance to get back to winning ways. For me Chelsea look just too good at the moment and I think that they will win, although we'll have to see how they do against the top teams as well. To be honest it's more exciting at the bottom at the moment. I haven't got a clue who will go down.

dont be disappoint guys... there are still more chance. just dont lose hope.. if we keep thinking like these, our player will lower there moral and it will affect their style of play.. We are Red Devils lad... and Red Devils never say die and do his best to be on top... Think positive lad... We still have our best Manchester Three...

Very true, although I highly doubt that the players read this. QPR in the carling cup tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the younger players. Gibson, Evans, Rafael, Possebon, Wellbeck and Manucho could all feature according to BBC Sport. Hopefully Foster will play in goal and get some games in, although i suspect he won't, more likely to be Kuszczak. Having said that though, I wouldn't mind Ben Amos being given a chance. By the way, we've seen Rafael da Silva quite a bit, but does anyone know about his brother Fabio? I don't think he's featured at all yet.

Yeah Fabio has injured his shoulder. If I am correct then he was also operated on his shoulder. He would be out for some time, but I guess it won't take too long anymore as it happened a while ago

That explains it then. I assumed that both had been watched in training and it was decided that Rafael was ready for the first team but Fabio wasn't.

SAF expects a lot from these boys, but Rafael is lucky that Gary is nearing the end of his career and Evra is still a young lad himself. They both got their oppertunities, but Rafael adapted himself quite well early and Fabio not yet, but his time will also come

Bad news about Hargreaves. Out for the whole season! Damn. The thing with tendon problems is that its very hard to heal and never achieve full strength once damaged. Hope he gets rid of that knee problem soon. Must be very frustrating for him.

It's better for Hargreaves not to play until next season so he can recover and be fitter next season. We've barely been able to use him since he joined. He's a really useful player to have when fit, because he can play in loads of different positions.
