hahahahaha. you mustve been playing "real football" i guess? tell me a game that's better than Pes. im not siding either pes or fifa but both games has their pros and cons.

No game is perfect, everything has it flaws, you dont have to exaggerate to such extent by insulting or making the developers of the game look bad. If you think u can be better than them then prove it!

The teams in my PC demo consists of Liverpool, Man U, Real Madrid, Barcelona, France and Italy but I have seen Inter Milan, Portugal in some other versions.

Where do I get them?

IMO! PES is a great game and it translates over to pc better than fifa,but I feel Fifa provides a better football gaming experience.

I don’t like it. Demo pes2009 – it’s fifa with a worst traditions (starting from 1999) and without licenses. IMO – arcada.

But fifa2009 is a really better to compare with a demo pes2009.

LMFAO, you guys are happy that you are playing basically PES6 with a few tweaks, ah pes fanboys............but then again the last game was so bad I'm gussing the fanboys would be happy with anything that KONAMI gave them.

Being a former fifa player now pes convert i feel i am free to judge these games. I loved the way fifa played throughout my time playing fifa until 2002. This was when EA lost the plot. Pes has progressively gotten better every year until last years effort which was terrible. Seabass suggests in interviews that they were already working on this years efforts when pes 2008 was released. I have played Fifa 09 for a couple of solid days on PS3 this year and I found that while the graphics and licences were amazing the game play still lacked the geniune quality of earlier PES games. I agree that pes5 and pes 6 were close to perfect in terms of game play but hopefully the new 09 version will be even better. Lets wait til the full version is out before we judge.

Sure its like pes 5 & 6 but errr thats a good thing especially after 2008.

Just pes5/6 with next gen gfx and physics which is all I really ever wanted for my first next gen Pro evo console game (not pes 2008 wtf). No need to improve (or change much) what was already pretty perfect in terms of gameplay. Champs League will be bonus.

the pes pc version is 10000 times better than fifas pc version, but fifa on the 360 is unreal.

will the camera tweak for pes2008 work with 2009?. I tried the d/l for the tweak but it does'nt work btw, anyone tried using the tweak?

I've played 3 matches so far and it feels pretty good. Now what really matters for me is the online play, I hope it's not laggy.

Well i am a fan of the pes series, i owned em all and am awaiting my copy via mail.

I have played the demo extensively and agree its alot better than the horrible pes2008 (although the choppy animations remain).

Since the 08 version for me they lost the 'feel' of the game that they had in particular with pes5 - that game felt like football, the pace was perfect and the animations were so fluid, it was a great game.

This version feels like a big step back in the right direction, the pace of the game and passing is much improved all the ball reacts much more realistically now, better for long passes they don't just run away now.

So overall im happy that its back on track, i was worried after 08 version!

But please guys all this fanboy talk, c'mon their just games - we all love football and some of us prefer fifa others pes but we all love football right?

Anyway i much look forward to juces work with modding etc.

love the work he and others do.....they really do a great service to pes....konami should reward them!

I just really hope the online gets back to where it was at with pes6 with the tourneys etc. and good connection!

Kitserver 8

Hi folks...ive got the new kitserver for pes 2009.
Anyone knows how to use Kits in this version?...arsenal and other new kits are on the web but i dont know how to use them in kitserver 8....Seems to bee a complete new setup...???! Anyone help please! Sorry this might be off topic but....im kinda new to this. : )

Got PES 2009 this morning for the PS3...the full game plays so much better than the demo imo. Passing is slicker than in the demo but the overall game speed is still slow, like in PES 5 . Goalies are still a bit dodgy though...spilling straight forward shots although they do seem to be better at smothering the rebound.

I also really like the presentation of the UCL matches, it's just a shame that the mode is not integrated into ML . The graphics have definitely improved from last year with player likenesses and the rain effect particularly impressive. One disappointment is that the squads are out of date e.g. Berbatov still at Spurs but I've just read Konami are releasing an update, which will also include some new Spanish licenses, in a couple of weeks to fix this.

Become a Legend is good fun too, although I still haven't made the first team despite banging in the goals in training (possibly because they don't want you promoted too quickly as it's meant to last 18 seasons).

Haven't tried online yet but hoping they've fixed the lag fest from last year
