great win. we totally dominated the game and deserved the win. Paul scholes...he has still got it in him. Genius of a player. Tevez was immense once again. Rooney got a perfectly good goal taken off him. Looks like tevez is gonna be our man this season. Rooney has to step up soon but i dont blame him, He never gets to play the supporting striker role.

Not a good video though coz it shows only the manu goals and not the match highlights. O'shea's goal from this one was an unforgettable one. If I'm not mistaken we were playing 10 against 11 when O'shea scored right?

Yeah that's the one. But like you said it's not of very good quality ;)
Thanks anyway, I'm still searching though.
Yeah I think Silvestre elbowed someone (Ljungberg?) and got sent off.

WTF??? Anyone seen that Vidic interview???

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=566620&sec=england&cc=5739
I really hope that was a mistranslation. Surely he wouldn't say that he wants to
leave England for Spain.
He seems to be whinging in that interview, I would've never thought he was like that.

"And Mancunian fans of the English and European champions may well take offence at the comment that 'in England, they say that Manchester is the city of rain. Its main attraction is considered to be the timetable at the railway station, where trains leave for other, less rainy cities.'"

I remember Hleb saying something similiar about London, its not a suprise really that some Europeans find living in England difficult. Can't blame them for that. But he did say in the future, not soon.

Yep, I was just surprised that Soccernet picked it up.
And I mean the comment about rain and train plan is quite a heavy misquote ;)

Of course it was - the media are always trying to make mountains out of molehills, especially concerning United. Reading Teamtalk and watching Setanta, you'd have thought he had demanded a transfer!

I am however somewhat relieved that Vida decided to set the record straight, unlike someone else I could mention.

official photo shoot 27 Aug
- Looks like he's bulked out a bit? or maybe the photos just close :D

seems the same size as rio and vidic? maybe a little bigger?

just a pity he's injured. Thats, rooney, tevez, saha, manucho & berb... if we get him and provided saha and mancho heal up. One hell of a striker force.

Reds confirm dongs exit

SSN are saying 3 clubs have put in a bid for Larsson, bid isn't from villa or united, would of been great if we had him on loan again. Maybe Sunderland :D

Ferguson cool Berbatov rumors

Dimitar Berbatov's hopes of a move to Manchester United look to be fading after Sir Alex Ferguson said he was "less optimistic" about new signings.

The United boss, who had a £20.5m bid for the striker rejected, was uncertain whether he would boost his squad before the transfer window shuts on Monday.

"I'm less optimistic so we'll carry on," Ferguson said.

"I've no idea what's going on. It's very hard to get communication with some people in life."

Berbatov has made no secret of his desire to leave White Hart Lane but Tottenham are determined that their £30m price-tag will be met.

United are unlikely to be pushed into paying over the odds and Ferguson may be prepared to miss out on Berbatov.

With just four days until the transfer deadline expires, Berbatov's future at Tottenham remains uncertain.

Spurs manager Juande Ramos left the 27-year-old out of his squad for Saturday's defeat by Sunderland, claiming the player was not focused enough.

After the game, first-team coach Gus Poyet admitted the club had no idea if Berbatov would still be a Spurs player come the end of the transfer window.

He added that the club was "going to try hard to get a couple of replacements" before the transfer window closes on 1 September.

Asked if that meant Berbatov was on his way out, Poyet shrugged and said: "What can I say? I think the best thing is to wait to 1 September.

"There is nothing to hide. We talked to him the other day and he was not in the right condition to play - I think you say in England, 'not in the right frame of mind'.

Berbatov's Dimitar Berbatov's agent Emil Danchev is believed to be in London to hold crisis talks with Tottenham.

It is understood that Danchev hopes to meet boss Juande Ramos and chairman Daniel Levy in a bid to thrash out the striker's future.

Window watch: Roman Pavlyuchenko clears United path for Dimitar Berbatov

Tottenham Hotspur have reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United to sell Dimitar Berbatov when they complete the signing of Roman Pavlyuchenko. The Russia forward is expected to arrive in London today for a medical after Tottenham agreed a fee of about £12.5 million with Spartak Moscow. Tottenham are separately trying to sign a young striker after selling Robbie Keane to Liverpool this summer.
