Do you think PES 8 has ...

Too few dribbles?

I mean there are almost no special and amazing moves like elastico , hocus pocus , stepovers where ucan actually go left or right etc etc...

And the ones that are there are pretty hard to make aswell with weird combinations that doesn't make a player's life easyer , why not just implant them all in right analog stick? instead of some combos of buttons..

What do you guys think

personally i think the 2008 version has the most dribble-moves up to now.

you just have to learn how to do them properly.

Learn the combos, jagoff. :bob:

Tell me the combo of elastico and hocus pocus , oh wait they aren't in game...

There is not much in game tbh , mathew feinth , pull ball and push forward it isn't special move at all, the pace left and diagonal right or vice versa altho it isn't any special move at all , rainbow I think there isn't in game i might be wrong since i didn't play for some time now , then 360 which is pretty good , step overs ( but unable to turn left or right from them only forward with run button ) , then there is C.Ronaldo's back move ( only good skill in the whole game ) and thats pretty much it.

I really like PES because they don't have a bunch of 'tricks', you can use the general dribble to get past your opponent just like is used most time in real life, and it rellies on skill not just pressing a button.

Thats fine , but they should have special moves , anyone that is a soccer player and plays joga bonita will agree with me , I do special moves in real life all the time thats what makes the game of soccer great and beautifull to watch , was PES made by UK people or something?

Maybe you'd have a better time playing Fifa then since I think they have more tricks.

The problem is PES is better in just about everything , except sound , dribbles and curve shots.

The Winning series is all about timing.. just like in real llife.

Never been a matter of fancy moves.

For example,
Stepovers in WE is done by first doing the move then breaking diagonally pass the defender just at the right moment.

The same goes with all the other moves.
1. Pull ball back and if a defender advacnes then push forward,
2. Near the corners, first stop then wait till defender stops with you. As soon as he does you accelerate forward.
3. etc....

Its all about the little touches that actually works and counts in real life.
Just think how you make the little touches in real life and apply them to the game.... it really works...

We is not the "press a fancy move button" and let the animation get by the defender for you type of game.

Thats true , and I like that , it adds alot to the game and makes it alot better and realistic, yet there is still fact that you should be able to do special and great moves , and not just do them and animation should get past him , but do it at the right time , based on ur opponent and place to get past him , like in real life.

Well, the 360, between the leg, or doing any other combination of step overs, side steps, pull back, shot feints, both foot feint etc are enough of fancy moves for me.

Obviously, it isn't for you.

Well, looking at the way how WE plays...
(don't like the latest version though)

I'm pretty sure Sea Bass would add new moves once they get the "feel" right.

Many of the fancier moves are hard to implement realisitcally.

I'd dread to see a new fancy move that is not implemented properly.

Sorry to trouble but I'd like to ask how can you create a poll tool. For your reference, I'm now carrying out a statistics in this forum on how many fans of PES and FIFA, i.e I need to have a poll tool, e.g 'are you the fan of' '1-FIFA', '2-PES' '3-both'.

Thanks in advance for your help.
