. If you pay attention, the Russians don't protest a single thing. If it were the Italians out there, there would be three guys around the ref after each call, intimidating.

Holland has more shots, more passes, but that doesn't mean nothing. Who is watching the game since the start can see that Russia is nearly owning the orange. Hiddink once again, a bow to him, what a great job he did there.

This is one of the very best matches I have ever seen. Real decoration of the tournament. Move aside Turkey, it's our turn! And there's no need to say I've never seen my national team playing like that before. Marco van Basten is my all time favourite player, but he's no good manager.

Arshavin has to be best player of this tournament. I haven't seen such good exhibition of a player in a final stage of the euro in a long long time.
Congrats to Russia, they deserved. They played so much better than Netherlands.

Holland gave all their energy in the first half, I mean scoring 3 goals to Italy and beating the French byt 4-1 does require alot of energy, and if you do that you will loose to a team like Russia. They didn't play economy at all. For example Germany lost against Croatia but beat Portugal with a superior game, Germans got the best idea to raise that throphy.
Just like Bonzi with this thread, Russia wanted and deserved this match more.
