I understand English might not be your first language, but still... lol. Never seen it written like that before.

Classy display by Portugal. Never seemed to move out of their comfort zone either to win the game.

Bosingwa was impressive! hes gonna be a great signing for chelsea. Ronaldo had a decent game..unlucky with the free kick. Portugal need Makakula upfront. A powerful CF. is he even in the squad?

Portugal were a joy to watch, the final score doesn't reflect how one sided the game was at times, should have been 4 or 5.

I agree, Makukula would have been great but Scolari left him out of the final squad list. Went with Helder Postiga instead... makes no sense to me either.

we had a great game won by 2 but could have won by more
everyone played well. the one player who didn't play as well as expected was ronaldo but he's under a lot of pressure right now and everytime he had the ball there were 2 or 3 turkish players around him...
but if we play every game like this one, with this team work, this concentration, if he work hard like we did we have a great chance of winning the euro

Well done to Portugal, they are a world-class team and they totally deserved yesterday's crucial win.
Our team was pathetic, its not because we lost, i mean ofcourse we could very well lose against a team like Portugal but the players were very defensive minded and yet they were outplayed all the time, we should have push up more and played more offensive, the best way to get the ball out of your danger area is to push forward, at least it would have been better then the pathetic display we have witnessed.

Congrats to Portugese supporters also, them and the Turks supported their own team side by side and with complete fair play, i even saw a giant Turkey flag in the Portugal supporters side before the game, no violance or fights occured both sides were very nice to eachother.

This only proves when we face english teams them and their unique ways of "having fun" before the games provokes and cause violance off the pitch.
All the "mates" out there, Learn how to support your team and yet remain peaceful from the portugese supporters !

Lastly , I hope Portugal or Spain to win the Euro 2008

Great game from our players. Turkey were quite lucky not to get out of there with more 3 goals in the bag.

50% of the work is done, bring the Czechs (H)

are you serious? :|

I mean, Postiga might not be world class material, but Makukula is worthless...

ronaldo wasn't bad but he didn't play like he does at man utd
we can't expect him to score every game, to be the man of the match in every game but i think we can expect the same level of team work that he shows at man utd. in the NT he's still very "individualista" and that's what stills annoys me about him. he's the best player in the world nad i have the highest hopes possible for him but in the NT he still hasn't quite reached that level

Of course he is "individualista", that's why he's the best, he has to be like that, if he can be dangerous by being like that why would he pass the ball all the time?

And it's not like he takes the ball and never gives it to their team mates, he wasn't like that at all in the game...
