Wow! Champions of Europe again, it feels so good to say that after nine years - it hasn't fully sunk in yet. What an amazing season, I'll admit when the ball bobbled free and fat Frank pounced I thought it had gone - we battered them in the first half and should have had it wrapped up. I had a feeling that Cech would save Ronny's spot kick but I was so elated when Terry missed his, when big Edwin made the Anelka save I was up in the air!

Ronaldo made it even better minutes later when ITV interviewed him and he uttered the magic words "I'm staying" Just truly an amazing night and I'm planning on being in Manchester when the club do their celebration (later in the summer)

We owed Chelsea one for Wembley last year - Revenge is sweet, but The Championship of Europe is even sweeter!

A magic night, I still can't believe it.
I'm going to be dwelling on that save by VDS for weeks, amazing.

Congratulations. I think van der Sar did a great job psyching Anelka in the last shot. Staring at him and signaling him to shoot to his left, hoping that he won't, and it worked.

IMO, you are the best team in the world but Henry and Ronaldo? Trust me, you don't need their baggage, egos, circus. You don't need anyone in fact. And if you did, you'd be better off with the Nani's and Andersons!

Yes, Fergy is a great coach. He has risen from the ashes to glory over and over and over, and always in short time.

From the interviews with David Gill and Sir Alex, I don't think they'll be too long in making their transfer moves. I would pretty much bet on the following;

Out:

Louis Saha
Gerard Pique (Barcelona almost agreed deal)
Mikael Silvestre (Wants to go to Bordeaux and with Gary back fit maybe we'll sell)

IN:

My money would be on moves for;

Klaus Jan Huntelaar (Ajax)
Daniel Alves (Sevilla)
Miguel Veloso (Sporting)

and possibly Jao Moutinho as well.

yesssssssssssss, what a game. im still elated. manchester was crazy last night.

Watching the over-time and then the penalty shoot-out was absolutely heart-popping. I got lucky enough to catch the game on TV in food court full of people. Just seeing Terry go up, i thought it was over, just to think that that one slip costed sooooooo much, i can't even discribe the magnitude of this. I don't even wonna talk about the match, we are the Champions of EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the island and off it!







BTW Luzhniki is NOT Roman's backyard, Roman has barely been to Moscow in the past 5 years, Luzhniki is more of a Vidic's boot camp because that's exactly where he used to play before we signed him.

interesting choice, I agree with the out, coming in I think there maybe a token British player or I hope there is. They have had a thing for it in the past, always a nice balance of foreign to British players

KJH said he might stay with Ajax since he says he would learn a lot from the incoming Marco Van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp.

These Ronaldo stories are continuing, I think the club needs to get him to stop arsing about with us - if he wants to go, then he should just f*ck off to Madrid. Also I think it's about time Madrid were made to answer for the way they seem to be able to "tap up" players without penalty. People (ABU's) say that United "tap" players, but certainly never to the degree that Real seem to be able to.

Don't get me wrong, I adore having Ronaldo as a United player and unquestionably he is the best in the world at the moment - however if he doesn't want to play for our club anymore then he's better off out of it - same goes for anyone. Lets get this sorted while we can still have time to spend the money we get for him (if he goes)

M8 its just media, I don't think he actually ever said he wants to leave now, he's always maintained he would like too in the future.

After the game he was interviewed and asked about the rumours. He replied very bluntly, I Stay with a smile and then walked off.

Its on the bbc site somewhere I think.

I'd be more worried about the Euro's and members of his national team brain washing him, although if his recent comments are anything to go by, he wont be leaving.

As.com is reporting that Madrid will pay 90 million euros for him. The current record is 75 million for Zidane.

Yeah he's not going anywhere, he's signing a new deal with united next week. Must be upping his wages to cement his placement.

Wouldn't go as far as saying Madrid should get fined for this sort of thing, because there spokesman said it wouldn't be happening. Its the media trying to get sales.
