If you'll look around you'll see that most people here agree the match was pretty poor aside from the penalties. Very cautious, sloppy play from both sides that didn't amount to much.tracertong;2527486 said:

Poor John Terry, his dream was undone by a crappy pitch. He must feel so heartbroken. He's the only player on that team who bleeds Blue, and to lose like that has to be the worst feeling in the world. When he stepped up I thought it was guaranteed that he'd bury it.

Then for Anelka to miss. It'll take a lot to forget this night, heres to many more similar. Fair play to chelsea, they were the better team in the second half and first half of ET, thought we edged the rest.

I liked the match a lot. In fact, I thought it was awesome. You can't have Liverpool - Milan 3:3 every time.
I consider Chelsea to be the better team and I was gutted to have seen them lose. I thought they deserved to win.
I also have to say that I don't understand the decision to let John Terry take the penalty. Why didn't Essien take it?
In any case, the bunker team again takes the trophy.
