I just wanted to let you know my impressions on PES 2008 gameplay, although I know that maybe nobody is interested in my opinion.
Before saying something else: I already UNINSTALLED PES for frustration, so do not waist your time in tellig me "instead of complaining just don't play it", because it's exactly what I intend to do, not playing it anymore.
So, I started one league in Serie A with Juventus, in standard difficulty mode and the result is the following:
- the CPU always wins contrasts
- the CPU always reaches and tackles successfully my striker even if miles ahead, and even with 99 run value
- when trying to take back the ball my (best) defenders can hardly reach the cpu player, who is always an unbeatable superman for run, shot, contrast and ball possession
- the cpu cheats when I want to run in the direction of the cpu player having the ball, as my player does not run the direction I want
- my passes go always the wrong way
- my lobs are always intercepted
-the cpu players are always at the right place in the right moment, whilst I do not see any of my players for large sections of the field so that the cpu can run and advance undisturbed
ans maybe I forgot other things, like e.g. the fact that most times my kit and the cpu kit is very similar and I can hardly distinguish my players on the field but there is no way of changing kit in season mode.
So, I was very disappointed y FIFA 08 gameplay and I moved to PES, but sincerely, now I don't know which is the worst and most frustrating between the two.
