So Luca Toni is great, he could score more again if he'll have more precision amd more assists he could score 30 goals in Bundesliga every year, shame Klose this year has really sucked, 4 Poldi we've to wait Klinsmann, tonight in Frankfurt we'll see Schlaudraff in the starting 11, I know it's a risk but Klose in not fit, Toni too tired, hope he'll be playin' a good match, he's a good guy; this evening in Frankfurt, it's a very very hard match to me, we'r under pression cause Bremen won yesterday 2-1 and is at -7, we miss Ribery and Jansen, Ze is suspended and Hamit out til next season, maybe Kroos from the beginning, don't know, 1 point could be ok in "Commerzabak Arena", we've not to think to the final of saturday cause we've still won nothing and have to tihink to the 1st shot this season, the Bundesliga, then come uefa and german cup.
So, Let's Go Bayern anyway!

I'm watching the match in Frankfurt, Eintracht-Bayern, there's Toni "solo" striker, Ribery on the field, some reserves, only one question: why Josè Ernesto Sosa sucks this way? What's goin' on with this guy? Ok he's not Kakà or Ronaldinho but it seems to play 10 vs 11....ops 12 with the referee of course....

edit-1st half we lose, 7 points on Bremen are not so much if u consider that tey'll win all the 5 remaining matches and we've to get almost 8 points....

edit2-I didn't expect a 2nd half like this, the best SCHWEINI everytime, LUCAAAAA TONIIIIII for 2, VAN BUYTEN, Lucio great, LELL and OTTL superstars, good Schlaudraff with the assist for the 3-1, Sosa the absolute zero, Rensing is not Kahn and he'll never be Kahn, shame, but we won so we'r at 63 and Bremen at 53, +10, we've won anything 4 now, think to saturday now....

Bayern is looking fantastic as of late. Luca Toni has been magnificent!

to think that Bayern missed the CL this season, I would've loved to see Luca Toni in action in the CL!! too bad...........

Zakov, it's better this year have been out of the CL, too hard matches and we'r playing 2 times a week from february, next year ok, so the score for Luca Toni:
Bundesliga 27 appearances 20 goals
Uefa-cup 10/10
German cup 3/3

Total=40matches/33 goals

wow, thats great considering its his first season, score more and he'll beat Ronaldo for the European golden boot, at current form he looks like he's scoring two goals per game..........

Gattuso absolutely not! Don't like drugged guys in my team! He's great ok but I don't like him; we've to think to Flamini of Arsenal, yesterday Rummenigge talked klar about him, it would be fantastic to sign a guy like him, it's true, Toni wishes 2 italian players in Bayern, we could sign another striker and a defender or a keeper, but don't know who cause the greatest italian players cost very high, 4 example Iaquinta of Juventus but we need young guys, Mutu too is 29, and not italian but he played in Fiorentina with Toni, I wonder about Mancini of my other team, Roma, he's leavin' Rom but the price is very heavy and he wants 5 millions pro year to sign, als keeper there's Marco Amelia of Livorno, Rensing can't play number 1, is not that good, so I'm confused....

I think for keepers we can stick with Germans. There are some solid young German keepers out there that can play #1 for us. We don't need to buy high priced foreigners for every position.

I'm happy with a lot of the team right now, but we could use some tweaks obviously. First of all, we need defenders. Not fullbacks, but central defenders. Hopefully Breno emerges, and hopefully we can continue to keep Lucio. There are Lucio rumors every summer, but he always stays, and I love that because he brings continuity and stability to our defense. We need a replacement for van Bommel. Thank you for your hard work the past two years Marc, but we don't need you anymore. Sell him to PSV and let's find a young replacement. Flamini could be okay. I'm still bitter that we didn't buy Per Mertesacker during the summer of 2006.

As an American, I also think we should take a look at Michael Bradley at Heerenveen who can play anywhere in the central midfield and would not be a player that demands excessive playing time. He would be a good squad player, like we got with Hamit.

No offence Shifty but i don't want anything that has the last name Bradley anywhere near my team. And this is coming from a Metrostar/Red Bulls fan.

He has like 20 goals this year for Heerenveen! He's lighting up Holland. I have felt the same way for the first 4 years of his career, but the kid has mad skill.

Agree; we've signed Borowski, really good player, we got Breno but we need something more in midfield, right a replacement for MVB, maybe Flamini ja, or someone else, so let's wait, tomorrow at 8,00 pm CET Bayern-Borussia Dortmund german cup final, hard match in Berlin, in TV it is live in the ZDF (for german people or like me that have german TV by satellite), in the USA don't know, but u can watch surely the game on the web....:drevil:

I don't know man, i am still a little pessimistic about him. I felt that he was basically awarded a career only because of his father. But that would have nothing to do with him doing good in Holland i guess he is legit. Although i am pretty sure that if are going to aim at the champions next season other type of players should be needed. Even as a sub i think we can do better than Bradley. We need to consider that we have a surplus of youngsters in the midfield. Ottl and Lell are both interesting youngsters.

At this point i gotta agree with you on Van Bommel. I mean i would welcome Gatuzo too if it would help boost our chances to get rid of Mark. He was ok in his 2 years here but his first year he was one of the on the field generals of the team that missed the 3rd place and the CL spot.

I always thought that way too, but this year has been an eye opener for me. We have to remember that our impressions of him were formed when he was 18 years old or younger. He's going to be 21 this summer and he has really excelled in a starting role in Holland for a pretty good team. Heerenveen are in 5th so far... ahead of Feyenoord, ahead of AZ, and other historically good clubs. Bradley is tied for 4th highest scorer in that league, and he's a midfielder.

I don't understand why you guys want to get rid of van Bommel. I mean, he is not the greatest of players technically, but he has that character about him...or lack thereof so to speak. Very controversial figure on the field..kind of reminds me of Effenberg. It is good for the team to have someone that will get them fired up in times of need. You don't want a team full of laid back guys...where does the inspiration come from? Yes, the bad thing is his red cards and suspensions from time to time, but there's more plus than minus. I say keep him. Plus, with a new Holland manager, van Bommel is back on the international scene...and that doesn't hurt either.

Considering we wouldn't get much money for van Bommel and he wants to stay anyhow we should keep him. You don't get rid of a player with such CL experience when there's no reason to do so. Also check the results when he was not on the pitch this season. It's no coincidence that he wasn't available in the two games we lost in the league. He's the vocal leader on the field, apart from him there's hardly anyone who opens his mouth. That shouldn't be forgotten, especially since Kahn will be replaced by another shy dude like Rensing.

A DM is first priority. The new DM, van Bommel, Ze and maybe Borowski (if he plays like he has the past two years he won't get anywhere near the pitch) should be a solid rotation.

Rensing will get one year to prove himself so only a reliable backup is needed.

The defense is fine I think, it depends on who wants to leave or who we want to get rid of. If Lahm or Sagnol leaves we need another fullback. And if Lahm doesn't sign a new contract we should sell him instead of keeping him another year and lose him for nothing in 2009. He hasn't been great anyway, he's certainly no Lizarazu.

I don't really care about Lucio. He's 30 and if he wants to move abroad and finds a club that pays good money we should let him go. He's been rather inconsistent this season and Demichelis is clearly our most important player at the back. Mertesacker doesn't want to extend his contract and it looks likely that he will come either in 2009 or in 2010 but I'm not convinced anymore that he's Bayern quality. Bremen's defense sucks and he's part of it.

U talk about market but Dortmund equalizes in the extra-time, we were sure on the victory with the goal of Luca Toni and we missed some chances, so we're 1-1 and miss the DFB-Pokal. What a SCHEISSE.
