I think Poldi & Scweni should leave Bayern....It seams like they don't fit with the team anymore...

Podolski is a great player...one of my favorites, good speed, good shoot and medium technique but i think bayern isn't a team for his style...I see him playing for Liverpool, Juventus or Valencia...
Look how Poldi plays for Germany and how he plays for Bayern...Its a big difference...That's not his problem...That's the team or the coach's fault...I really don't know what to say, he's a big talent and he should do something for the future with his career

Totally agree, but hope Poldi stays another year and shows his qualities, he's a great wing to me, we'll see, Schweini is out of top-form, don't know, but I've seen Bayern better with Poldi and not with the Toni+Klose attack, shame we're without Hamit til the end.....:(

It happened that we're in the semifinals with Zenit that ruled out Leverkusen, but now our players are too tired, I'm afraid for the matches of sunday with Borussia, next week in Frankfurt and the cup final in Berlin again with Dortmund....:alex:

Bayern Munich – Borussia Dortmund

Bayern Munich
Probable starting XI: Rensing, Lell, Lahm, Lucio, Demichelis, Ottl, Zé Roberto, Schweinsteiger, Sosa, Podolski, Klose

Borussia Dortmund
Probable starting XI: Weidenfeller, Rukavina, Hummels, Wörns, Dede, Kehl, Kringe. Tinga, Federico, Frei, Petric

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Bayern Munich- Lukas Podolski

Podolski looks set to be given another Bundesliga start and he will want to impress. His chances have been severely limited this season, so it is up to him to show what he can do when given the chance. He scored the equaliser a few weeks back against Nürnberg coming on as a substitute, but then rather disappointed against Getafe in the first leg and again last weekend against Bochum. He needs to impress on Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund- Alexander Frei

The Swiss striker has looked lively in recent games. He came on to great effect last weekend against Bayer Leverkusen scoring the equaliser five minutes from time before Dede then snatched a late, late winner. If Dortmund are to take advantage of any tiredness in the Bayern ranks, the Frei could be the one they look to.

What a spanking. Toni has been the best striker in the world throughout the season. Poldi also returned to his scoring habits. Great game overall. Rensing was given the chance as well to play. Sagnol the Captain was good as well.

So i read we are linked with De Rosi from Roma. That would be a great signing if it happens. We really need a bad boy up in the middle, i am tired of Van Bomels doings.

O and how about Roque Santa Cruz and Hargreaves both scoring today in the EPL. And not to mention Brazzo had 2 yesterday for Juventus. (H)

I forgot about this game.:( Was BVB so **** or just Bayern did his job well? I'm glad that Błaszczykowski finally got back from the treatment.

So, 5-0, unbelievable, what a goal Poldi, great in the attacking midfield, what a ZE and what a Lucaaaaaaa Toniiiiiiiii, then the sign for Andy Ottl, what a Bayern, it's my team, now we'r at 60, Werder at 50, 6 matches again.....but wait, we've won still nothing, I only can shout:

Deisler, what a match! So.......Toni scored 31 goals this season, 18 in Bundesliga, 10 in uefa cup, 3 in german cup! Agree on everything except De Rossi, trust me he stays in Roma til the end his career, I live in Roma and support Roma, it's fake, we must clone Daniele De Rossi so I can have one in Roma and one in München lol!!!!!:clapwap::alex::)

What a week its been for Bayern!!

The drama in Spain and then to smash our nothern rivals!!
Couldn't be any better.

Let's hope we don't become complacent and think we'll be able to do it again in the German Cup final! I'm sure the players will be up for it.. this is Bayern baby !!!!

Yes, Luca Toni is definitely the best striker in the world. His finishing is just in a class all by itself. I admit I had some reservations about signing a striker of his age, but MY GOD has he been a revelation for us. Without Toni we would have a season like last year, I fully believe that. I hope he is the first to get a drink of bier at the end of the season when the Bundesliga is brought home.

Hahaha, I want De Rossi! Love that kid, he's a great player and excellent at what he does. I can only imagine a Bayern with De Rossi in defensive mid, Borowski in attacking mid, and Altintop and RIBERY on the wings. Sounds amazing, especially with LUCA TONI at the top. But I know De Rossi will never come here :( That's okay, I guess we can put Borowski in the back and give Toni Kroos more playing time next season, and hopefully we resign Ze, if I remember he was on a 1 year contract.

Lukas Podolski!!!!! He isn't finished here at Bayern fellas! He's very young and had to come off the bench most of the year, but now that he's getting some more regular play he is really playing well. Can't wait to see him under Klinsman next season.

Great post, ShiftyPowers.

But what makes you say De Rossi won't come to Germany? We managed Toni, and indeed Ribery.

The team next season looks to be the best we've had in many years. So potent in attack and solid in defence, with speed and class out wide. Perfect.
