PES 2008 PS3...what a disaster

Wow. You would think with the all the capabilities that come with the PS3, all the graphical processing power and everything that KONAMI would at LEAST make the game 1080p, i tried it for PS3, NOPE!! AHAHHHHAA are u ******* kidding me? 720p???? THE COMPUTER VERSION IS 1080p, whats so hard about making the same for ps3? What a joke, after going from computer to PS3 versions, it looks like a cartoon!!!

Online: Konami , have you been stuck under a rock for the past 5 years? YOu call this online gameplay? I call it players and balls appearing left right and center magically. The online play is a complete disaster, nothing is synced, you tackle a player and take the ball, 2 seconds goes by the picture is his player in front of your net and already rounded your keeper....wow, what a piece of **** of a game for PS3, you guys are a ******* complete disaster , what have you been doing for the past year? Scratching your nuts it looks like cause this isn't a next gen game, this is no game at all...i cant believe this came out of KONAMI's production, nothing so poor has ever....go **** yourselves for this version u ****s

agree 100% with the online. I only played a few games and then gave up. The netcode is brutal! the last game i played i lost 2-3. i never even saw two of his goals. Had to wait for the replay to even see what happened.

with regards tp the ps3 not having 1080p... i'm not sure what's up with that. i see many games that don't support 1080p on ps3 but do on the 360. Maybe it's a limitation of the system, or people just haven't figured out how to do it yet.

I agree, its a big let down! like you said, I wonder what Seabass and his team did for the past year! maybe its just like you said and they where scratching their nuts all year!

It's known that PS3 version is the worse this year. If this happens to NA version then it confirms what about the earlier version of this year release, and conami didn't bother to do any different knowing the problem. I feel sorry for those with PS3 version.

konami pretty much screwed themselves over with this version, since the get-go ppl started converting back to fifa because of the BS this years version has. Every year more and more were switching from fifa and playing this cult following game but now they just shat the bed. Its not even so much for the ****ty online but just very very VERY basic things that are so foolish in this game. For instance, defenders defending a 1v2...instead of the usual one player pressures and the other supports, konami makes it so that the 2nd defender is IN LINE with the pressing defender, so when the pressing defender is beaten to the wing, an attacker has all the time and space in the world to take it to goal...2nd thing, attacking winger is flying down the wing and has a striker in line with him running towards the middle of the penalty area, one defender running with the winger and the other instead of following the striker making the run into space in the penalty area goes towards the winger, so you have 2 players on the winger and a striker all ALONE in the box, completely stupid and no way of controlling this decision, why konami ? WHY? absolute rubbish

LOL after changing the screen settings to 720 the game is much much better...perfect i would say...dont really know why...btw its on 360 xbox:drevil:

I feel sorry for those guys going for PC version. It looks better but the gameplay just plainly sucks. Passes and shots on pc are just matter of luck as pc version does not support ANALOG buttons not to mention dribble with trgger is much more fun

Game is arcadish like hell but what do you expect? When PES5 came out people complained it is to difficult to play (sic!) so now you have pure arcade:drevil:
