Thats cool Zakov.
MaestroZidane, don't think a complete fu<k up on Sunday hasn't crossed my mind mate. It's the fans biggest fear of course, but the thing is this, we just have to be upbeat and confident about the situation.
Of course we could lose. We could also draw or we could win too. The future isn't written yet and thats why we have as much chance as Man U have of winning the league. Absolutely anything can happen man.
I think Avram has made tactical mistakes this season, and it seems like it has cost us points every time, but nobody mentions when his substitutions actually win us a game. People only ever want to mention his mistakes and never his successes.
The guy is learning the job. He has never coached a top flight team before in his life, and he has never managed a club in England either. He'll get the hang of it eventually. There is no great rush. Thats the great thing about football, there is always next season.
It amazes me that so many people expect instant results from the bloke. That just shows how little people really know about the game. Personally I believe in giving him a chance to learn. I don't care if it takes a couple of seasons either. I'm really not in any hurry. I would like to think that Avram over time, will learn the little tricks needed to win in the EPL. If Roman is willing to be patient then so am I.
It took Wenger a good few years before he had any impact at Arsenal, but strangely enough nobody ever mentions that. Fergie struggled when he first took over Man U too.
What people are comparing Avram with is Jose, and that is just stupid. Two very different people with completely different personalities, and Avram is much less experienced as a coach than Jose was when he arrived.
I'll tell ya this man, the only people who demand instant success at Chelsea are the gloryhunting newbie fans. As Zakov said, the Chelsea fans who have followed the club through the last 40 years, know better than that, and that is why the REAL fans do not get hysterical about everything like the newbies do.
I like Avram as a person and that is important to me. If it means I have to wait a couple of seasons until he gets the hang of things, then so be it. I'm very cool with that.
Roman and Kenyon have stated time and time again, that Avrams job IS NOT dependant on winning silverware this season. They have said that the plan is to continue to build on what has passed over the last 4 years. They obviously have more of a sense of realism than most fans do, and a damn lot more intelligence than the media have when it comes to football..
Roman has said, "If we win something then thats great. If we don't, so what. We will have to try harder next time."
I can live with that very easily.
