Anyone watch MUTV's programme about the Munich crash last night? Apparently the players were shown it to demonstrate what United is all about.

Fifty years tomorrow. But then you should all know that.

yes but you shouldn't get all excited because of that goal alone...unless you're planning on buying Zé Pedro from Belenenses aswell....

Fifty years ago a plane carrying the Busby Babes crashed at Munich, many lost their lives and today every United supporter should spare a moment to reflect on this and those who were killed.

Of course most of us were not alive at the time, or maybe have even seen video of them playing - but we should remember, for they are a part of United's history and part of the foundation of what makes our club what it is.

It was the spirit of those associated with United and Sir Matt Busby (as well as those who survived Munich - such as Bobby Charlton) who rose to the heights of European Cup glory only ten years after the club's very survival was threatened.

As implied in our club's name - we are United, and today we should be United in reflection.

I heard a few shouts to be honest, great moment otherwise though.

The cu'nts that were shouting should be shot.

Our coaches are reportedly very impressed with him. He's got an Italian passport through his dads descent, so there were no work permit problems. He's already played in the 2-0 reserve team victory over Man City, and played for over an hour and impressed. He's expected to play in the reserves for the rest of the season, but has been given the squad number 34. He's supposedely a tall elegant box to box midfielder, rather than your typical tricky Brasilian.

The same scout who recommended the Brasilian full back twins also recommended Possebon.

The focus of my post was on his debut in the reserves, which wasn't in the article. Admittedly I only posted because the thread was dead at the time, but I did add more information that what was in that article.

But sorry boss lol :$
