it's just fantastic man..i crack myself up every time they do that joke where someone says like "there's trouble at the hospital!" and the other one goes "the hospital? what is it?" and they answer "it's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now" :lui:

Bucket List - Great movie. I really wasn't expecting much, but overall it was a well done movie even though from the previous it was obvious what the movie was going to be about. One of those light hearted comedies that are actually funny. And dare I say, slightly touching. Really enjoyed it.

I watched Juno last night at the preview last night at the Odeon here, really enjoyed it. It's a comedy but it does have a romantic theme, but it's not a traditional rom-com that would put off most males!

"Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue!"

What do you guys think of Danny Boyle's The Beach? Does it worth watching? I wanted to buy a DVD, but then I remembered I've never heard a positive review of the movie and it was described as average at best.

Very very good Bonzi, probably Leo's finest film in my opinion (I don't like some of the newer critically aclaimed crap he's made that everyone else seems to bum). Also, The Beach is, in my opinion, also the best film Boyle has made. Great film, well worth a watch.

Now watch the hordes of members disagree with every fiber of that last paragraph.

agree with Tom, its a great movie. especially the first hour or so, cause towards the end it gets kind of crazy. but totally worth watching.

I think I saw The Beach at a time when I wasn't really interested in those kinds of movies (in other words I was probably 12 or 13 and all I cared about was cheesy super hero movies). I think if I gave it another viewing now I would enjoy it.

The last movie I saw was Juno. It was a very enjoyable movie with very solid acting and smart, witty dialogue.

I watched The Simpsons seasons number 2 and 3. I can't even compare it to TV show such as South Park because it's above every kind of TV show like that.

Dr. No (1962)
The movie looks good in every sense. Pretty simple, yet entertaining. Still pleasant to watch, despite being filmed 45 years ago (Y)

I went to see Juno - I guess I was expecting an awesome film because of the Oscar nominations and all. Also a friend told me it was hilarious. Mind you it was a chick, so I shouldn't have trust her judgment too much. But it's not bad. I enjoyed it, it didn't seem like a great comedy, because there weren't many laugh-out-loud moments, but overall it was a pretty 'cute' film I guess you could say. But without being corny. It was a bit over hyped, though.

hurhur....good stuff. I stared at that post for a solid five minutes trying to think of something clever and funny to say, but all I've got to say is TIERNEY FTW....depending on how recent his corpse is.

Wild Hogs............. in a moment of weakness........... ashamed to admit it made me laugh a few times.......... but it isnt very good.

And Hakeem, in my opinion Miramax trumps Fox Searchlight.

in the last decade or so? I'd have to disagree, but otherwise, of course. I mean, it's been around for like three decades.....Miramax would be more comparable to New Line, I think.
