What a good match yesterday! The 1-0 goal was class, Adebayor slipped the ball past robinson really neatly. I must say, berbatov's goal was nice, nothing Almunia could have done. But then, Bendtner! It was so nice, it was his first touch of the ball, and his first premier league goal!

Yea if your talking about the Penalty that spurs got. Kolo got some of the ball and was unlucky to have gone through and tripped that dumbass. Oh well I guess we are destined to win against spurs. No better way than how we did it yesterday.

Where was Van Persie? We really need him for Portsmouth and Everton.

Damn. United is still right on our asses if we slip up in either of these next two games. I'd be delighted with 6 points and happy with 4. This should be a real test of our backbone on the road.

Wengers fetish 4-5-1 may have just cost us the title. His subs today were average. I mean why did he wait till the 80th minute to put Bendtner on.

Bendtner needs to start the next game, ever if Ade is dropped him and RVP should start.

Why the hell was Clichy taking the free kick his left foot is average at best, surely Fab could have taken it.

As much as Pompey defended well last night, its not like they caused us trouble at the back, its 2 points dropped.

If Wenger isnt going to start Eduardo we need to sign another striker and we need a winger especially with Theo out whom we missed coming off the bench today.

Thank you. I think the Diaby subsitution was the worst he's made all year and yes, Bendtner should have come on earlier. Even with that said though we should have still won the game. Gallas should have used his toe with his chance, and all I can say about Rosicky's miss is that I miss Robert Pires.

Everton may play with two defensive midfielders in which case Hleb will have no room to play behind Adebayor which is only one reason why Bendter should start. He's strong and keeps posession allowing us to move up the field.

Tomorrow will be an even tougher match, and if we play the same way, we will lose. United look to be in no hurry to drop points, so hopefully tomorrow won't be a turning point in the title race.

I'm so happy for eduardo I'm bosnian but I like a lot of the croatian players and eduardo is one of them and so I'm really happy for him that he got to show what he is capable of doing because those 2 goals he scored he created himself and then finishing words cant explain how cool is he when he finishes

Sell Gilberto......
Diaby neds to pass earlier....
and walcott needs to try something new hes too predictable

thats my complaints about the game, also senderos n djourou are really slow to react.

Eduardo n Bendtner were solid, everytime edu got the ball he looked dangerous

Freeman signing would lead English revival

Arsène Wenger believes the current crop of young players at Arsenal is the best he has had during his time in charge — and most of them are English.

The Frenchman has always drawn criticism for supposedly favouring foreign talent at Emirates Stadium. It is a charge he vehemently denies but certainly, over the past year, Arsenal have consistently put out sides that do not include an Englishman.

However Wenger believes that will change in the future. At Friday’s press conference he announced that he was close to signing Luke Freeman, a 15-year-old striker who has already made three appearances for Gillingham. Wenger also suggested that a couple of the Club’s 14-year-old players were so advanced “they had nothing to learn technically”.

“Yes, we will be pushing it through,” said the manager when asked about the Freeman deal. “I want to buy English,” he added with a smile.

“I met the boy and I like him. He has personality and he looks alert. He’s a striker and to play in a first team at 15 years of age is something special.

“We were quite well on the case and we are very positive that we will find an agreement with the club without going to compensation. We will pay them a transfer.”

Freeman will surely cut his Arsenal teeth in the Under-18s, FA Youth Cup side and then the Reserves. Wenger added that young Englishmen like Kieran Gibbs and Henri Lansbury would “certainly be in the first team squad next season”. But, even below those age-groups, the manager sees emerging talent.

“Yes overall from 14 to 20 it is the best group we have had,” he said. “We play a youth cup game against Burnley [tonight] and we have a very good side. They are all at a good level now.

“Also we have two Under-14s players I watched play and technically they have nothing to learn.

“Will they be professional footballers at Arsenal? I don’t know. The more you go down [in ages] the greater the margin of error. Sometimes you see a player at 13 and you think ‘absolutely amazing’ then two years later he has disappeared.

“But our target is to produce good players and I believe we are on the right road with the way we want to work throughout the Club.

“I know how much the English national team means here to people. To contribute to that would be a big pride as well. At the moment it is not my first responsibility.

“But I have been accused of only buying foreign players and I would like to contribute to the quality of English football.”

1-1 i fell asleep watching the game :( , 2 points dropped from what i saw. Although the penalty we received was a bit lucky. I guess though if that tackle had of been made in the centre of the park we would have got a foul.
